It is but I still cant see anything happening. If the US strikes the North China will be come involved at some point or another. Nobody is going to win if that happens.
The last time the US fired some missiles they missed on purpose. Nothings going to happen. This is all brinkmanship.
The problem with North Korea is North Korea whilst I sincerely doubt Trump (well the joint chiefs in reality) would be stupid enough to launch a pre-emptive strike. I do think North Korea are stupid enough to strike against the US in a manner which demands a retaliation.
Trumps rhetoric is hardly helping but I don't think anyone has particularly helped since Kim Jong-Il passed away and this has been ratchetong up since. At some point this will end in conflict I just hope we have the sense to stay out of this one....we won't though.

The cynic in me can't help but notice that the proximity of war between the US and NK is inversely proportional to Trump's personal popularity.

One thing I do believe about Trump is when it comes to these matters he's doing what the deep state tells him to do.

Well Somalia was a disaster and Kosovo was actually very minor compared to the previous conflict in Bosnia but you didnt have Alister Campbell spinning the war in Bosnia...yes I am a bit bitter before you ask.

Obama has every right to be cautious and what intelligence to act on and what not to more importantly we only know he didn't make this information public. We actually dont know what internal actions he took after seeing it. Thats why information is classified you dont want your oppenants to know what you know. You only do when you think the time is to act.
Trump is currently making a hash of this so its.
only natural he'd make a bid to create a smokescreen blaming the other guy. The reality hes in charge now and regardless of the job the previous guy did its his job and the buck stops with him. So far he's goaded and threated North Korea which anyone with historic knowledge know only make them more hostile towards you. Like it or not they are scared of military action they'd welcome it. It work for their propoganda machine of being oppressed by the West. This 'crisis' requite a a delicate touch and you can't bully your way out it like Trump is currently trying.
But let's blame Obama its far easier than criticising what the current president is doing. Trump will still be doing it in 8 years if he gets re-elected. Just like Tories blame labour for everything that goes wrong on their watch despite being in charge for 7 years.
