Trump will now claim he is a Seer and that he foretold what would happen in Sweden.
 
TBF to Obama his problem was not getting congressional approval which is entirely what Trump was saying he should do back then.....which he didn't do this time.

I'm going broken clock scenario this is the first thing Trump has successfully done since taking office. It's probably the first time I've agreed with him as well. It doesn't make him a great guy just a slightly better than terrible guy.
 
Different times he was elected on a platform of strongly being against the Afghan and Iraq wars and not repeating those mistakes. He also with Cameron screwed up in Libya, I understand why the trepidation about intervening in Syria. They were wrong though they should of acted once the line with chemical weapons was crossed.

Yeah all true The Russians were not involved yet. If America had reacted more aggressively things would have been very different now. The rebels were also stronger at that time.

He fired some cruise missiles at an air base that has been ******* off the pentagon for some years now.
An air base that has been critical to pushing back ISIS and any of the US backed 'moderate' nutters they support.
The Syrians and the Russians are adamant that the air base was not the site for launching a chemical attack (and that makes sense) and the Yanks are gutted that they are losing another war.

Sure it's good to stand up to chemical weapons at any time but if they really wanted to show that they would have fired the chemical weapons at the Royal Palace and wiped Assad and his family out of the game.
Instead they target an air strip the Russians have been using to good effect against ISIL and the other splinter groups for 3 years now.

In the meantime the Americans are murdering thousands of innocent civilians in Mosul with their carpet bombing tactics on high density urban populations.
But the media is all about the chemical weapons.
I wouldn't put it past Assad to use chemical weapons, he's a nasty piece of work but...
I also wouldn't be surprised if the CIA fired the chemical weapons to take the media heat off the civilian casualties in Mosul.

I don't see anyone raising an orange flag about the hideousness the Americans perpetrated on the civilian population of Vietnam with their mega scale chemical attacks using agent Orange on civilian populations, a product that still causes hereditary birth defects today.

Wow they are some pretty pathetic complaints.

Mind the companies should have some balls and not apologise for some of this stuff like the co-op one doesn't look like it has gotten many complaints.

I mean did the BBC really base the majority of its news story of a tweet from a random person? Shocking journalism and sums up why the media industry is in decline.
 
Complaining about alcohol sales on good Friday are they serious? To most people Easter weekend is just 4 days off from work when the the weather tends to be ok and its a chance to fire the BBQ up or have the family round for food and festivities so its a prime time to try and boost booze sales.

Its a Pagen festival anyway nicked by the Christians. We should all be running round with burning torches making love to our women (or Men) in honour of the Anglo Saxon goddess of fertility Eastre....hence the eggs.

Some reports think not......and it would be a poor idea during the Brexit negotiations it'll delay progress for months....not to mention what happens if there is no majority government formed on a mandate of leaving the EU (I'm thinking a government propped up by the lib dems).

Could be an announcement about EU Nationals living in the UK?
