Church numbers don't need to increase. The ratio of christians to atheists is far higher in America than it is in Europe. It's a massive chunk of safe republican votes that won't budge regardless of what scandals he's involved in that would end political careers in other western countries. Like him committing fraud or sexually abusing women.

An increase in open racists is only part of it because it looks like Trump picked up the latino vote as well as a large share from black men.

Maybe Trump will modify the constitution to allow any US citizen, and not just natural born, to become president and Musk will have a crack
I could see Don Jr having a pop, but I feel like people see through how much of a weasel he is, he doesn't have the same aura Trump has with his supporters

If they do that do they risk bringing Schwarzenegger into the fray who'd destroy Musk at primaries at a Charisma level. And he's whilst a Republican very anti-Trump/fascism.

I agree with some of this Harris 100% didn't lose because she couldn't court any right wing voters they don't give a damn this what I mean by fear of the left. These people are never never going to vote for a mix raced Democratic women. She could threaten to bomb Mexico for every immigrant crossing the border and it would make no ounce to the dial.

I just don't believe being more left wing would of led to a victory either. As I said if the left can't be arsed to defeat Trump who are they going to be arsed for? (as I write this literally the only person in the office who voted for Brexit is saying how terrible this is) Then you have the issue that how far to left do you move before loosing what American laughably call moderates?

So then what would beat then trump?

Latinos in America from what I have seen tend to be very racist especially in the likes Florida

I have no ******* clue, its insane he's won at all.

My only advice, pick a candidate now, not 3 years from now. Its a shame about Presidential primaries messing that up. And make sure they build a message and vision.

Depends how well MAGA persists post Trump, I suppose, and whether they shift back to regular conservatism - they hated Arnie post covid because of his pro-lockdown pro-vacc stance, and he came out and endorsed Harris too
He's as old as Trump, as well - in a post-Trump world he's in his 80s, I doubt he wants the stress, especially after multiple heart surgeries

Last time round Biden had the pop of being very popular as Obama's VP, Harris had the legacy of failing massively when trying to run as the Dem nominee previously, being generally unpopular as Biden's VP, and being a mixed-race female from California

I feel like the dems trying to appease the right is what fucks them. It's the low voter turnout. Harris isn't even a moderate, the left in America is disenfranchised with politics it's as simple as that
