A Political Thread pt. 2

Bojo proving once again Cronyism is alive and well by putting his father forward for a Knighhood. Stanley Johnson as a Sir? WTF has he done to deserve that?

Neoptism, which tbh is even worse. Honours list is a joke tbh, especially political figures.

Probably hoping daddy will stop critcising his absolute cesspit of an administration. The idea that disgraced arsehole should be able to nominate anyone makes an already farcical process even moreso.

Yeh knew it was one or the other. :p Still, it's an absolute joke. Honours system proposed PMs should be scrapped. May proposed 60, Cameron 62. Apparently Bojo proposing 100. We haven't even got to what the worst PM in history is going to propose for the shortest tenure in British history.

The fact that the fat b'stard still has a platform is a joke. He can't help himself when it comes to seizing opportunities to undermine Sunak. Always piping up some BS about how we should be providing Ukraine with fighter jets or that the Windsor deal with the EU isn't Brexity enough. You could see from the remarks and body language of Von der Leyen towards Sunak that it was a relief to be dealing with someone who at least acts like a grown up.

Gullis really is a c*not and a nasty piece of work.

I still can't get over why no one in the media, except Novara Media from what I've seen, point out that people coming on small boats are not doing it illegally. It is only illegal if you don't claim asylum on your arrival or your claim is rejected.

The claim from Conservative MPs on the rounds today saying people shouldn't come to the UK is mad. It's easy red meat to the mob.

The other big misleading notion is that asylum seekers have to claim asylum in the first safe country they arrive in. That's BS and there is nothing in any human rights law about that.

I literally had to double take at this **** was from an official account. It makes me so ******* angry...

Times like this when I'm afraid to be British.

There are multiple reasons why the Tories are doing this, but the biggest is to give the public someone to blame. Previously it has been the Irish, black Caribbeans, travelers and gypsies, Indians, Pakistanis, Eastern Europeans, the EU. (I've most probably missed some)

Now that the EU deal is pretty much done they can't keep saying they are the bad guys, so they need to shift focus elsewhere. Apparently it's now asylum seekers who are public enemy no.1. How dare they try to come here to escape persecution!

A minor thing to the madness is the state of the BBC

As far as I'm aware entertainment broadcasting does not have to abide by impartiality laws. More importantly Linekar is quite clearly broadcasting a personal opinion not a corporation one.
