A Political Thread pt. 2

But was happy to serve him anyway? All this says is that he was happy to manipulate an unfit leader. What a ******
Thing is we know Cummings is a piece of ****. However, that doesn't make what he claims about Johnson and the rest of his government untrue. Issue is though that Cummings has such little credibility now that very little is sticking.

When 2 serial liars tell lies about each other it's impossible to tell the truth without hard evidence to back it up. Let's just say, for all his scumminess and lying, Cummings seems to be producing more evidence to back it up than Johnson, who seems to simply be blustering and denying but can't support a single thing he says. Also you have 2 ***** who were happy to screw over the country, 1 jumps ship and starts badmouthing the other, that doesn't stop the one still on the ship from being a twat.

Now why is the singular of twat fine but the plural not? Funny old system.

I'm still amazed anyone finds Johnson trustworthy. The man is a serial liar and has been sacked multiple times for it, yet for some reason people genuinely seem to think he's trustworthy.

Yeah but Johnson got Brexit done

I'm not sure that's the case; it's just that all politicians are untrustworthy; and therefore that he's so much worse than any other is irrelevant, because there's no such thing as nuance - but he's not Corbyn, and was funny on Have I Got New For You 20 years ago

Now I know England doing well makes most English people feel good and that this article is to do with Wales, which is devolved, but there are other examples I can't find right now, such as amateur choirs not being allowed to restart, theatres etc... All it does is undermine the government's decisions when there is clear hypocrisy depending on if there is national interest. Similar to last year when you could get a haircut, but not a tattoo and tattoo parlours actually had social distancing measures in place already. Government's decisions often don't seem to be based on logic, but on what they feel should open or what they feel people want to open.

The difference between the truth and the headline is incredible

Even though the football has been front and centre of the news in the UK, the burning of the bonfires happened in Northern Ireland tonight

See the video of the buck who lit himself on fire on one? As a very compassionate person myself, I really wish the footage hadn't been so grainy so I could see it better.

Man literally looked like Denethor in Return of the King!!

Quade Cooper not good enough to be Australian.

Reminds me of the Ghurkas. Put their lives on the line serving in the armed forces of Britain and then simply want to come and live here and the government is like "heh naaah".
