Why is Zane Kirchner in the Bok side now? Everywhere it says he impressed in the emerging Boks side. WHAT?!? He is such a **** player. All he does is kick, and in both the Super 14 final, and the Emerging Boks game saw 2 of his kicks DIRECTLY result in opposition tries.

Can't believe it. Am i missing something? >_>[/b]

de Villier's way of apologizing for being such a donkeys ass earlier? :D

Sounds like a brillaint selection, some one buy that PdV a pint :buddies: of arsenic :bleh!:

Only interesting thing about the Lions is Bowe at 13 - he's not a true winger, but has brilliant distribution. How will his defence cope with Fourie?

I expect Knickers has figured out what went wrong first time. Who cares!

p.s. Teh Mite - bit over the top with that ROG sig.

I've just sent him some of that today along with some pro long engine treatment so he can stop sounding like a bloody v8 that is about to cease

Back to the rugby... :p

Let me see,
Boks still has the "Beast" = Phil Vickery to attend another "honesty section" and watch again as the "Beast" scrums him back over the ocean back to England. ^_^
Heinrich Brussow :bana: = Lions won't steal any of our ball and we will get at least 5 turn-overs won on the ground :p
Du Preez and Steyn combo = Lots of quality ball for the backline.
Olivier and Fourie combo = a much better center combo then the Lions' of Flutey and Bowe. Wynand Olivier is one of the best distributors of the ball in the centers and Jaque Fourie needs no introduction :p , he has scored a try against each team that he has played against, even the Lions! That is some strike rate :bravo:

Can't really see the Boks loosing this one, but it is going to be a very tight game and also a high scoring game...

Boks 39 - 31 Lions :) Won't we all love to see some exciting running rugby :bana: :bana: :bana:

Oh yeah! I completely forgot "the worlds best player" was even pn tour... *cough*

What kind of an eeeejit are you. Dont you realise we have Joe "the ball stealer" Worsley lining out.

Add general awesomeness like Shane "float like a butterfly, sting like a butterfly" Williams, Phil "the real bull" Vickery, "Cant remember his first name" Rees, One arm Monye and Tootie Flutey.

Your f***ed and you know it!

(oh and I forgot a certain Mr Ellis on the bench)

The Bok backline should be interesting to watch today. You could easily say this is the best centre partnership we've put out this series. Olivier has rejuvenated his international career with some outstanding performances in the S14 this season, he is the in form 12 in SA this year. Fourie has also been in great form after an injury ravaged 2008. Pure class he is. If Habana and Pietersen were in it would be the form SA backline in 2009 so far.
I've been a big Kirchner critic, I remember saying he is the worst 15 in playing S14 rugby not to long ago but really he has been the form 15 in SA.
Really don't understand why Odwa is in ahead of his brother Akona. Wrong twin P Divvy! Maybe they'll switch around at half time :p. Nevertheless Odwa is a solid player, not spectacular but won't screw his team over.
Nokwe could easily be the fastest player after Chavanga in the world. I watched him live once and he ran in a +-60m try against the Bulls. When he got the ball you wouldn't say a try was definitely on, but he just hit the gas and nobody got even close! He's a pure finisher. Defense = crap.

A really 'raw' backline today. Luckily our centers are solid and we have the the Bulls 9-10-12 axis all together. The back 3 should get targeted by the B&I Lions.

Quick question. Will the Lions all run out with horse-racing blinkers or hockey masks on for this game?

Well played Shane, running an excellent support line and makes an easy try for the Lions after some great lead up work. One punch for the doubters. Will he follw up with an uppercut? Lions 8-3.

Good play from Shane is absolutely not surprising ;)

I think he will score today quite successively

Another fine play from him. Great double around in the 29th minute and superb in-field stab kick. He's playing really well. What is it they say? Form is temporary, class is .........?

Go Shane Go!!!!!

I wonder how some people can criticize him

Shane Williams a double? Hmm, one thing I do notice about the world is that although it's a very noble and dignifying thing to eat humble pie, those who could eat it, almost never do, lol.

Yeah for sure. Anyhow, enough diggin at them from me. I'm just very pleased for the guy. A couple of bumpy runs and he was being put out to pasture. He's really put a fending palm right into the faces of his critics.

Ricky Flutey producing a stirling piece of hearty defence to gain possession for the Lions 4-5 metres from there line. Sheridan giving a silly half-time penalty. John Smit really arguing like a child with the ref over the last lineout before half-time. Dickinson actually being very fair to him there, bothering to listen at all. Great penalty taken by Steyn!
