[2021 Six Nations] Scotland vs Wales (13/02/21)

Last bit perfectly summed up both teams.
Yeah Ireland so great . Cone on France.
The second week in a row we now have to hear how we 'can't take anything away from how good Wales played'.

Really unimpressive from them so far and barely taking advantage of their extra man for what, 90 minutes ish over 2 games?
Doing something right tho, No? Keep the EngIrish spirit alive

Honest question who out all the other posters (except drunk welshman looking for a fight) gives a **** about the triple crown? Because I've never considered anything other than 'oh that's nice' it's always been ***le or bust for as long as I can remember.

I love a drunken mess of a person venturing on here to converse with others. You don't get this kind of entertainment outside of television x on a lockdown Saturday evening

Well, we are 2 from 2 without really playing well. Nobody can say "You would have lost without the red card" - it can't be proved so it's a pointless thing to say really. The score was 17-15 at that point - not much in it. Besides, how about teams stop getting red cards... these are PROFESSIONAL players - cut out the recklessness.
6 day turnaround, plenty of injuries even before the game, including a travel day against an in-form Scotland in their house. I'll take that win all day.
I'm happy that these results are giving Pivac a stay of execution, I think given time, he can form a pretty good side out of these players.

Hard lines Scotland, I predicted you to win before the match and it was an exciting finish. Anything but a bore-fest at least. Hogg and LRZ might be a tasty Lions partnership.

Finally - not sure who's gonna have the biggest melt-down if Wales manage to beat England next game. The English or the Irish on this forum. You lot have such a burning hatred for Wales/Welsh rugby its entertaining. Good luck to the Irish tomorrow. France are on fire! And trying not getting carried away, but would be a great finish to the 6N as the very last games is France v Wales. Would love a GS decider. No disrespect to the English - think we'll struggle against you lot (then again, I've thought the same for every game so far!)

S

What? LRZ grew up in Wales and only started in the English system when 16/17
Exactly,
Moved to an English (RFU funded) school at 16, went through the Gloucester (RFU funded) academy, now plays for Gloucester (and English side)
Unless you think he was good enough to play senior international rugby for Wales then he was developed through the RFU systems ;)

I've had half a Guinness and I could beat up everyone on this forum.

Whenever Wales get a win you can be sure the English and Irish will pick the bones out of it but if they won in the same manner you can guarantee it would be the greatest win since slice bread.

It's no surprise that LRZ was the difference - full product of the English/RFU systems
Same with Hamish Watson - one of Scotland's standouts: full product of the English systems

Might as well just rebrand it the RBS France + 5 Different England Sides
Sure - if it helps you sleep better at night
Apart from him growing up in Wales where you actually learn the game from a young age.

So... and what's up guys it's been a while, yeah weird. I've been around a few decent Wales 6 nations and even more unsuccessful ones. This one 'feels' like an unsuccessful one, regardless that 'certain' people (like most of England and Ireland) like to call all of our success that way.

When we have 'won' things in the past I've 'felt' it... I ain't feeling it this year but still, we had to start scratching out results in anyway we could... it's not our fault that we eventually worked out that the colour 'red' in of outsell could be the savior!

Surely that's a negative for English academies not being regionalised? If Rfu wants to spend money on Welsh players that only want to only play for Wales then that's on them.
