I never thought about it, but yeah, definitely this.

I started watching rugby in 2008, and I can't say that in the time since, that France have looked particularly special in the NH for ball-in-hand rugby. How long are you allowed to keep a reputation going?

The problem is from 10,12,13 to 14 (Cuthbert or James) players can't sidestep, both centre's have limited passing ability and vision.

They're the best players in their positions in Wales and it leads to a certain type of game plan.

Boy that was a painful match to watch. Not much better than France v Ireland two weeks ago. As good as the 6Ns is for the atmosphere and rivalries, it's wholly depressing watching the quality of rugby being produced. No wonder the SH look down their noses at the 6Ns. I watched one half of Blues v Highlanders this morning and it was infinitely more exciting than watching 160 minutes of those two matches.

Gatland thought that was brilliant -WTF?? no wonder the NH teams play this way when coaches think this type of rugby and the skill level this low is good enough for test match rugby. Unfortunately after the RWC 6N sides will have to be content with the dog fight of trying to win the 6N because they haven't got cat's chance in hell of competing with the big four and I include Argentina in that group.

France were so poor tonight, I am now confident that Scotland will beat them.

If Wales were more clinical or created a bit more then it would have been much more than the 19-10.

From tonight, if I were Hogg and Laidlaw, I'd be kicking everything at that French backline because they didn't win ONE kick and chase.

Oh, and Brian Moore was so grumpy tonight, yes, he had a point regarding the scrums but his whining got really boring!!

That's the last game I watch with Barnes in control, any non rugby followers watching this dross won't be tuning in again, Barnes is doing his best to turn people away, who the **** does he think he is ? it's not all about him, no matter which side you follow, supporters of both sides can be feel hard done by. He hasn't a clue how to ref the scrum, should have yellow carded a French player at one point, so evened it out by not giving us a yellow. If this was soccer the ref would have to ref at a lower level after making so many cock ups.

The scrum is a load of crap in pretty much every game of rugby played these days. It's harsh to single out any one ref for it. If NH players were good enough not to be making so many unforced errors, we wouldn't spend so long in the scrum.

You say that but Barnes was the reason it wasn't a closer game.

In my experience, the Welsh aren't any more one-eyed than any other nation, you just have a couple of trolls on here that seem to like to have a pop at the English whenever possible. valley commando is fairly notorious for it.
