No doubt brown will get cited for his filthy act, he knew what he was doing when he brought his heel up , end of the day he is a scum bag so it's to be expected. Hooper got cited for clearing scum bag out with no arms and I do love seeing that but what he's done is equivalent to a stamp and should be cited as such

That's all fair enough but it remains to me that Murray by illegally holding the ball near his face puts himself in danger not Mike Brown. Had he let go Brown would of just ran through. Therefore even though Brown's technique could be considered poor he has not put Murray at risk, Murray has himself.

Surely you must see the sheer irony in this comment, considering seconds before Murray gets kicked, Haskell and Care cynically kill the ball! By your logic, if they hadn't have done that then the whole kicking incident would never have happened

Not convinced your arguement holds much water, and it is pretty daft to say it's Murray's fault He's not the one petulantly kicking near a players face...

Well we'll see if Brown gets cited and then we'll know if he did anything wrong.

Well, citing commissioners don't always get it right...

and it happens virtually every game unless the player let's go of the ball and it happens again or the player targets the head it gets overlooked.
Players don't get kicked in the head every game, quite rarely in fact. Brown kicked a guy in the head, if this was a legal case it'd be down to him to prove he wasn't negligent and I don't know how he could do that.
Jesus wept.

You ****ing softcock.

After every ****ing ireland game we get people complaining about how the poor pale skinned fellas have been assaulted.

Fans from all countries need to find a new sport if they can't handle the physical aspects of the game.
Seriously? Log off and enjoy your night man...

Striking a player is illegal, he negligently struck Conor Murray with his foot. How do you miss that point?
Because they look through rose tinted specs , we all know what happened it was quite blatent . I did argue aggressively because I do feel strongly that he should be cited for this . You will never get them to agree mate but if it was Murray doing it to brown you wouldn't hear the end, hopefully we will get some justice with a citing and a ban.

Really mate? Not called for.

But the referee saw it FACT. So it deemed fair like Barnes saw everything last night. You're laughable.

Its called a victim complex and the Irish tend to have a very large one

A close game. England overall deserved to win but Ireland showed courage in the 2nd half and should keep their heads high.
I felt it was a similar game to Wales-France, a somewhat poor 1st half, Wales deserving overall , and France fighting back in 2nd. Both Ireland and France lacked flair and accuracy this week-end.

Aye don't worry you'll get a physical game against s soon enough just don't go crying if we make a few minor infringements will ya

I'm not talking about infringements, as I've already explained.

Except this isn't a legal case in that regard. After all every player would be off down the knick for GBH if that were the case. Except George Ford ;)

Except as noted he's not targeting the head my points was you'll generally see a player get kicked about a bit in that situation. The head I'll admit is rare but that's more to do with where the ball is.

I'm going to cut Brown some slack here.

He was obviously feeling frustrated at the idea of playing third fiddle to Halfpenny and Hogg for next year's Lions tour assuming he makes the squad that is.

Has Hogg done anything this season?

Yes, seriously.

I'm tired of people complaining about perfectly legitimate acts in the sport.

Yes, really. I think it is.

Haha... Striking a player isn't legitimate, Brown did so negligently.

Try find me playing the victim here or in any of my other 4,000 odd posts. I've been coherent and respectful in this thread, the Rats... Not so much.

He'll be there. Gats recognises that he's dynamite on his day. Actually, Brown is a bit of a poor man's Hogg.

Have a look at the first and last tries today.

I avoided saying "if that happened in the streets..." Because of that. It was the legal procedure, if the citing commission works like a common law court, I don't know if it does, he should be cited and banned.

Stop talking or tigs and I will be fighting for your undying love.

Seriously though, it was generally good between both sets of fans during and before the game. Let's get back to the disgraceful love in and reminis (sp?) about Space Jam.
