[2015 Six Nations] France vs Scotland (Round 1)

does scotland have a realistic chance to win this ?? they are paying quite well at the t.a.b

Question is rather: does PSA's team has a chance against Vern Cotter's one ?
If the FFR had had more brain than a mussel they would have given Cotter a castle to convince him to take St André 's job.
PSA already made me regret Lievremont, he 'll remain in french minds as probably the worst coach of the last 20 years.

To take Kockott Who is less than average this year and did not prove anything when playing for France is beyond understanding.
Or, the situation of french rugby after years of Top 14 dominated by foreign players is actually worse than expected.

Lopez is also less than convincing for ASM, which gives us a terrible pair of halves and thus no flair at all.

Up front, our theoretical advantage will be as usual nullified by the ref according to the now well known new scrummaging rule :
If France loses a scrum, France loses the scrum
If France wins a scrum then tell the opposite team to respect the rules and reset the scrum

Personally I believe France will this year struggle to avoid the wooden spoon, which considering the progress of Scotland and Italy will be a hell of a challenge.

On the other side, I will follow Scotland performance with great interest, they may be the real sensation of that tournament.

I think yes if they continue playing in the form that they were playing in the autumn test. In my opinion at Scotland's best they are capable off beating everyone in the six nation (but only by close scores though). This year though i think Ireland are most likely to win the six nations but i think Scotland will definitely beat Italy, but they might make an upset against Wales and France if Scotland play really well.

Come on now.

Afraid for this one...
Fortunately time of duels is over, otherwise on a PSA/Cotter one I wouldn't have bet a Penny...

With a red shirt, maybe Scotland think they're gonna play Walles...!

I have great hopes for a much better game than in Rome with the French getting there by 7 points!!

Thomas to score the first try.

Whoever said they like this Flower of Scotland tune must be crackers and I am half Scottish!!!

Who let the work experience boy do the pre game team list screens?

Is it me or the french shirt makes them look exactly like Spain?

It also looks like velvet, red velvet, very much like porn from the 70's

Good job Jean Condom has retired then.......................

hahaha

Truth be said, the most beautiful uniforms in all six nations, very classy.

Seariously awful kick in this Six Nations. Every team.

The best half so far in terms of players not looking to brainlessly run into contact over and over again.

You mean today or forever?!!

Great try which enlivened a so so match...too man mistakes and poor kicking tobe more than an average game and certainly not as gripping as last night's was.

Best half in the tournament so far: players trying, good plays, not so much kicking, some good offload...

You did not see last night where Wales were pretty good in the first half and England superb in the second then?

This weekend.

Not as gripping as last night, but better in terms of backs running onto the ball at pace and actually aiming for gaps. Probably aided by less structured defences, but still.
