Genuine? It was unnecessary. Didn't fix a single defender and they had more than enough players out wide that simple hands would've seen them over.

Naw, it made enough players hesitate that millisecond to give DK as much space as he had, the 2 on 1 that could have been created would have been McGrath and Ross. The best one of the half was with Fitzgerald and was soon followed by PO'C being held up. Usually, it's used to get the side a bit of depth to do something else but there's no point showing new stuff against Canada

True, but then they created a nice build up and beat a few defenders. I think it 7 points would have been fair considering they were already 30 odd points down.
