[2015 RWC] Pool A: England vs. Wales (26/09/2015)

Biggar doesn't knock on, scrum awarded. Mike brown knocks on. No call.

Lots going England's way at the moment and the score is all fair. Wales to warm into the game later hopefully. England's defence was always going to be excellent with the current line up.

Mike brown with an outstanding slice at around 20 mins as well. His smile said it all haha!

Holy crap the worst passes I've ever seen in an international game or so. They are going to brake dan biggar's back in two.

Sam looks more up for this with every collision,
Stick him in traffic for a bit then let him loose after

Was at fault for the Williams break though, the hits have been horrible though. Roberts ever gone into a game being physically smaller and less explosive ?

Watch the game from the 6n to see them going more freely.
No one was saying the all blacks are crap because they were dull as dishwater in the final in 11.
For one of these teams this is their world cup final.

Show me a RWC that wasn't as dull as dishwater since 1987, they were intense but dull affairs as almost all finals are...

Thats just marketing because William is the "prince of Wales". Both are Pommies and support England

William is not yet the Prince of Wales, Charles, his dad, is. William is the Duke of Cambridge. But yes, forward planning by him, as he will know Welsh peeps have long memories and will remember him wearing a Welsh shirt during this game. His first priority will always be to the crown. But privately he'll be cheering England.

Get used to it, its the Twickenham effect.
Tom Youngs throw in to the English line out was straight to the England line and the ref let it go... then a backs move to a try.
To be fair though, even though Wales haven't had the rub of the green, they need to do more to get the game by the scruff of the neck for a bit.
When you play away you have to find that bit more.
I'm glad the scores are still close at this stage.

Every Welsh line out isn't straight and only one called so far. Thought the Cole penalty was a bit ridiculous too, swings and roundabouts ain't it.

Sorry, but trading drop goals in the first 20 minutes in any format/tournament is pretty average unimaginative stuff.

Did Wales take Gareth Anscombe?

Nope because he's a Kiwi reject.:)

Nah, seriously, he injured his ankle and was never fit to be picked for the 31, even after Halfpenny injured his knee.

What about Lydiate not going to the bin ?

I hate this media that NZ gets for this WC. I want some presenters and a panel to talk crap for 15mins wtf... We just get music and highlights...

Anyway, this match is very... If I say "Northern Hemisphere", do people understand...? Lol.

Wilko just called him Bully Vinniepola

It's no Binny but it's another nickname to add to the list

England lucky to get that try, that lineout wasn't close to being straight.

I have just seen the half time replay of the throw in and have seen many, many worse than that not given! To my mind it went down the gap but on the English side as the catcher had to lean into get it. Nothing wrong there for the neutral with two eyes!!

What has surprised me is that the match is playing being played at a very low tempo with many people taking the ball, on both sides, standing still and not neither side really attacking the breakdown as much as I thought would happen.

Rugby is a game for all sizes and all talents...it is about winning not just about tries!
