Big News is Gary Street has resigned with immediate effect two weeks out from the First game, not reasons given as of yet.

Nicky Ponsford, RFU perfromance director for Women takes over as Head Coach for the 6Nations, Graham Smith will stay on till the end of the 6nations.

Almost complete silence from the players on Gary Streets departure, lots of Media eyebrows raised.

Also as an aside leading into the 6nations Canal+ are reporting that the Women's Top 8 games are getting nearly as many viewers as the men's Top 14 - Montpellier vs Blagnac over 200,000 viewers (not sure i believe that).

the fact there is a massive conflict of interest between 7's and the 15's game is going to show this year... hopefully the inexperienced England side can step it up over the next few week.

14 first choice players missing away with the 7's - and here is the issue, they are contracted as sevens players, which frankly some of them like mclean, are not so their priority is sevens which means the RFU have generated a massive conflict of interests for them.

A 6 nations where we should have been building on the brilliance of last year is instead handled exactly like the mens - we lose the coaches and our squad is decimated with no transition plan in place.

True to form the French girlies gave their Welsh counterparts a good honest spanking, excellent up front and Wales given a mercyful penalty try in the 83 min
final score 28-7.excellent game watched by some 12000 supporters in Montaban, did not see the dog.!!!!!!!
