[2014 TRC] Australia v New Zealand in Sydney (16/08/2014)

Beale at the starting XV was a HUGE mistake. HUGE mistake by Link.

It would have been fabulous Foley controlling the game at the first half and then Kurtley in the last 20 minutes as impact player

Much more competitive than this time last year but still baffled by some of Australia's choices.

Why is Beale kicking and not White (or ever Toomua, although his % was poor in Super Rugby this season I think)?

Why did Hooper keep turning down the points when the Wallabies are hardly dominating the ruck or set piece?

Jaco Peyper having an excellent game at referee in my opinion, picked up pretty much everything and hasn'thampered the game too much.

You're Farking kidding right? Technically correct perhaps, but some **** just should be let go. Beale "crawling" when not held is a good example. Just let the game go a bit you dumb c##t

He's been consistent. He pinged Savea for exactly the same thing.

I agree with you but not on the Beale one that was blatant as.

The crocket yellow was a load of crap.

Why do Refs do that? It was obvious he was trying to make the game even for the second half :( Pretty unprofessional.

Nope, that was a penalty. Literally thought "he's crawling there" just before Peyper blew up for it. Cruden had enough on him for him to need to stop going forward imo.

Reminds me of Horwill in the Lions 3rd. Baffling. Keep the scoreboard ticking over until there are real chances to go for a try. I'd be surprised if turning down 3 points doesn't change in the 2nd half.

Its purely Hooper not having experience you watch he wont make this mistake in the test match again. Think's he's still playing super15 for the tahs I suspect.

And he shouldn't have. It's barely an offence and it's pretty subjective because it depends on whether you judge them held.

As I said, the pr*ck just hates the game flowing. Maybe his fitness isn't up to it or something, but it was the same in te semi final against the Brumbies - he just gets in the way and stops it at the drop of a hat and doesn't know how to play an advantage

so that's what Ali Williams is doing when he should be wearing a Toulon uniform ?! Thaaaa lazy little dweeb !!! ;)

Falou should have been given a red for taking out the ref too btw...

Both sides giving out about the ref probably means he's doing a better job than if it's only one side!

No movement on that attack - all the receivers taking the ball standing still

Yeah it reminded me of Horwil as well.

I can sort of see his logic. Everyone knows that the longer you're behind the ABs or the longer the scores are close the more likely you are to get stung in the last quarter of the game. So go for the try before half time to try and get some breathing space.

But when your forwards aren't dominating and the game is so evenly matched that logic doesn't really work TBH.

**** off

You can't physically attack the ref just because your not winning. AFAIK.
