Why the argentinians are so competitive in so many sports?

It came into existance as a "I'm from *specific country* and that makes me better then you" thread, and that is all it ever will be.

The independence of the Celtic countries is close, and you know it.

Actually no, Northern Ireland won't become independent anytime soon whether the rest of the UK like it or not - we like being a part of the UK and the British government can't just decide to make us leave.

Is the isle of Man Celtic? and if so whens the rebellion
EDIT: Indeed it is Viva la Revolution

And god forbid Brittany leaves us. They make some mean cider. And butter.
Your butter is mine, I shall be democratically elected beloved voice of the people ruthless king of Celtland (laughs evilly think mwuhahahaha).
EDIT:Why can't I have Isle of Man as my flag, the Argentinians got one :(

Bravehart was a load of tosh. Not a single deep-fried Mars bar throughout.

You don't have to be Irish to be Irish, as my grandmother used to say.

edit: that's why Richard Strauss may be playing for Ireland soon, I've heard.

SA > Argentina (just look at the Olympics medal standings)

We are top 3 in Rugby, cricket and top 8 in golf. Any other sport is meaningless in any case....

Just thought I'd get i on the action.

Yes of course.... cricket is much more important than football (jajajaja poor boy!). Asked in China, Moldova, Japan, or wherever you want about some famous cricketer or a famous footballer. The answer will be: Crick what???
