Finally found this tune. It's used as background music to some Movie adverts on Channel 5 in the UK, been looking for it for what seems years.

Bit trance tastic but it's quite nice.

Anybody know of similar stuff ? I'm looking for that kind of music but don't know what to look for. This is fkng awesome stuff, I used it for my 'New Millennium French Flair'. Excellently written, awesome arrangements. Would love to hear similar stuff. It's electro-ish, industrial...

Here's another good one off the album:

aw fk I was ready to crack up when I saw fkn "COMMANDO", we're talkin the film where Scharzy's holdin a dude from the ankle upside down into empty space and the guy complains "you said you'd kill me last !" to which he replies "I LIED" and drops him...talk about ultra cheese. Still one of my fav movies as a kid, we had it as a Betamax :p

Pretty good @bratsappendix, I like that second one a lot, it's got that 80's/early 90's vibe - although the chord prog is ultra utilized everywhere the arrangements and tones are nice. I like it. Thanks.
Third is pretty fkn cool also. As cheesy as those electronic drums can be, they are like beats on the resonating bells of my nostalgia :p

Any more ? MORE ? I'm looking for instrumental stuff that isn't too heavy or brutal for future mixes/tributes, but still in good taste, I'm not gonna start throwing in crap just to be YouTube-friendly. Running out of good instrumental stuff.

ratsyboy @ratsapprentice, please do give me other ones of those if you have any. Don't be reluctant, throw in anything similar when you've time. Think I'm going to use this one for the next mix (from your very own Anglaaand):
instrumental version, even more interesting than the original imo - START AT 0:25

Stuff like this with an 80's/90's vibe. Careful arrangements. An industrial feeling. Samples maybe. Strong production. LOVE the vibe they get out of the pentatonics there. And a great buildup til the end. Real music, in short..

Thanks @ratsapprentice (boy you're one lucky little phallus there's this new quoting thing, or else I'd be rearranging the fick dich out of that username !!)

Perurbator: that ain't bad !! Real chord prog+lead work there, good authentic feel. That's pretty good ! Love the effects they use, very dreamy and smooth.

Power Glove - Nightforce; yeah that was part of your first list. It's good man. Very simple but again a real atmosphere, and I LOVE those 80's pentatonic pinched synth keys. Very nice phrases. Superb arrangements. Must be awesome stoned (fk it's been a while.....).

Power Glove - Power Core: there's some feel to that, but the musical phrases and motifs aren't original enough. It's not bad though.

Power Glove - Motorcycle Cop: a darker one. Pretty good too. Yup. All about arrangement and that big dark chord prog. Very nice selection, I'll listen to anymore you've got like those.

@ratsapprentice: yeah I mean we're both metalheads but just in case you had any more of that stuff. Gnaw their Tongues lol, that's a little too much. Will also lsn to that 35min track from Pig Destroyer you mentioned, later.
Blut yeah they're pretty good when they want to. That album is fine, but a little too simple. They do lack substance on that album. I get their brand of indus means to be slow repetitive and about crescendo arrangement, but there's a limit to how many times you can hear the same lightly distorted arpeggio, as brilliant as those sound.
Epitome VII still pretty good. I like this one though (already in my tribute vid folder)

Again a bit too simple and repetitive but a real atmosphere and powerful progression. Epic, futuristic, and sorrowful.

Never a fan of Anaal (at least not with two 'a's like that I'm not...). Too bad, I 'wanted to like them' but they never gave me a reason to.

That's a shame, what Anaal Nathrakh stuff have you listened to?

couldn't tell you, but gave em a real listen, I don't just listen to a 1/4 song and judge a band. Too much noise, not enough substance was my verdict. I much prefer a band like The Amenta in that register even though it's quite different of course. There's much more definition and the musical textures vary widely, the arrangements are silky, there's a true atmosphere of dread and post-apocalyptic anguish...Anaal have this sort of ultra boorish blackmetallish taint..
And even total chaos requires some order to be achieved.

Gotten big into these guys and should be seeing them live next March. Check this cover of Gotye's The only Way.
