What are you listening to pt 4

went to real groovy today, got myself lou reeds live in concert, pearl jams new york july 8 2003 concert and neil young and crazy horse, live in san francisco.

imo the neil youngs SF concert is better than live rust...

Got an LP from King Crimson on vinyl from galaxy records. Absolute mellow and just cruisey, love it.

Sambad, check 'em out if you haven't already. They are a hidden gem these days. 21st century shizoid man is just mind blowing.

Listening to a mix of old easy listening songs I made for mum a few years back...Ben Folds, Vanessa Carlton, Pete Murray, Jack Johnson etc

Listening to KoRn's legendary album 'KoRn' again

Best hard rock album ever?

Definitely a classic

Inspired me too revisit this album. I must admit I'm not a huge fan of this genre but Korn are an exception and this album is a classic.

Love Blind, Ball Tongue and Clown.

Also listened to their 2nd album recently, Life is Peachey (I think that's what it's called), and that is another good album. Twist is the most insane thing I've ever heard!

Too bad their new stuff is crap, only their first 3 albums are good IMO.

Yeah, I'm not a huge metal/hard rock fan, although I've always enjoyed a song with a good scream :p

The only stuff I have that is close Korn is Limp Bizkit, Bullet for my Valentine, Disturbed and Stabbing Westward. But a vital part of my music collection nonetheless!

And you gotta admit, Twisted Transistor from their newer work is pretty damn catchy!

**** its been a while since i put on korn. one of the 1st bands i got into, and havent listened to alot since. them and staind were the 2 i were into.

cranked pearl jams 2000 tour dvd today - very much enjoyed. also a bit of led zep

For me Issues and SYOTOS along with Korn - Korn are favourites, not liking the latest one so much. Quite enjoying latest Seether, Five Finger Death Punch's album, Dethklok, RATM Live in Auckland BDO 08 and Muses BLack Holes album. There's bit of a mix for you :)

Was Issues done after Follow The Leader? Don't know anything about the band since Follow The Leader, the nu metal genre grew old for me and I moved on. I suppose the fact everyone else was copying them got kinda boring such as Limp Bizkit etc.

Did you go to the BDO this year? Lucky! I was overseas so missed out, was ****** I didn't get to see Rage

Well that's not really entirely fair, KoRn helped Limp Bizkit get their footing, I love both bands.

Listening to Box Car Racer a lot at the moment, basically loving the whole album, I'm really not usually one for the punk rock scene, but I really really like this.

Fair enough. The one distinct thing I like about though Korn is the slap bass, it pretty much makes the whole song stick together. Listen to Got The Life and you'll see what I mean.
