As opposed to to head first, and dropped into cervical compression resulting in... nothing beyond a shameful cover-up and no admission of wrongdoing even 12 years later.

Yeah but you could NEVER talk yourself out of that. Theres been HEAPS of stuff hes missed for both sides. Thats unacceptable for a ref who is officiating the 3rd test.

IMO Poite has made a few mistakes today, but none of them result-affecting; and there are very few players out there who've made fewer mistakes over the 72 mintues (despite fewer opportunities)

You see, I should feel resentful for that tip tackle on Jordie, but I don't. In the end, it may have just been the exact same situation, but that tip tackle on BOD was aggravated by unlucky circumstances. Let the players or the institutions sort that out.
