Warm Up Match 7: Hurricanes v British & Irish Lions (Wellington)

You see, I should feel resentful for that high shot on Jordie, but I don't. In the end, it may have just been the exact same situation, but that tip tackle on BOD was aggravated by unlucky circumstances. Let the players or the institutions sort that out.

Are you seriously comparing a that to what Umaga did?

I mean can you really not see the difference.

Have you even seen the BOd Umaga thing?

Why? We're not fairweather fans
Quite the opposite - when the weather's fair, several of us are out doing family stuff; it's the **** poor weather (or prices to pay later) that sits us in front of the telly.

That's the real reason that there's so many more B&I fans on these boards than any other nationality.

You cannot compare the Henderson tackle in this game to the Umaga/Mealamu tackle ..... are you old enough to remember it ?

IMO Poite has made a few mistakes today, but none of them result-affecting; and there are very few players out there who've made fewer mistakes over the 72 mintues (despite fewer opportunities)
Believe me, Im not complaining.

That's a tip tackle at the end of the day, his legs went above his shoulders. Anything could happen even if there is no malice or bad intention.

im leaving this becuase I can't see how the hell you can compare the two. I mean you know there is a difference between ABH and GBH?

I'm holding my ground. It could have been much worse if Henderson had been unlucky to lift Jordie even higher.
