Wales v South Africa - 23/11/2024 (17.40)

20/1 on Paddy Power and Skybet. Meaning that if you bet £100 you may make £2,000. Might have a flutter.
I was going to say there's not much value in 14/1.

20/1 is better. Let's be honest, though, it could be 1000/1 and you're still losing your money.

Even I would stick a fiver on a 1000/1 though.

Disappointing that he's not playing Rogers at 15. For me he's a full back who can play wing not the other way round and if you're going to drop/rest Winnett we should be using rogers. We have no depth at full back anyway. But yeah, let's play the novice who's never played full back at 15. Less said about Costelow the better. There's a lot wrong with this team actually but who gives a ****.

Wales: Blair Murray; Tom Rogers, Max Llewellyn, Ben Thomas, Rio Dyer; Sam Costelow, Ellis Bevan; Gareth Thomas, Dewi Lake (c), Archie Griffin, Will Rowlands, Christ Tshiunza, James Botham, Jac Morgan, Taine Plumtree.

Replacements: Ryan Elias, Nicky Smith, Keiron Assiratti, Freddie Thomas, Tommy Reffell, Rhodri Williams, Eddie James, Josh Hathaway

I would love to see Gatland say with a straight face that he thinks Costelow is a better 10 than Jarod Evans. The fact he hasn't even been involved in any squads is a disgrace. Dont get me started on how badly Lloyd has been mismanaged as well but that started with Pivac and Gatland carrying it on.

Change of tact from Gats today. He absolutely has a strong desire to carry on, he's asked for time and he said he would resign if he thought it was best for Welsh rugby.

I hope these are mind games he's playing coz I'm starting to get worried.

What's the point?
Ok, that's it. Given the time of the year i feel compelled, no, urged, to nominate the above as post of the year. Comfortably, easily top 3 material.

It's succinct and brief, yet profound. Simple yet puissant.
A no brainer in my book.

Just came across this. Had to share
