That I can guarantee won't happen. There's reasons to win it eg help Connacht in to Heineken Cup and blood younger lads but won't be any bragging. It'd be nice for weekend in Cardiff though for craic.

All I can say is; if Wales win this game I will probably have to go to hospital suffering from hysteria. You are so very adament that Ireland are miles better than the Welsh team. When in truth, both teams have shown promise at times and have been bad at times, there's pretty much nothing in it.

I for one approve of the spite.

I also hope Ireland play Tomas O'Leary; since I will be denied my tool battle in the back row, I demand it at scrum-half. Of course, the depressing thing is 2 years ago those guys were the best in the Home Nations, and now they stink things out like being licked by a dog that just ate its own ****.

It will of course kill all back play, but backs don't really deserve the ball if we're honest. Far better to give them **** ball, forcing them to either knock it on or kick it away and bring things back to beautiful forward ball.

Of course they can. The difference being the those ones dont really stand up. Mine though, while obviously annoying a minority are hard to argue with because they are true. Fact!

Thoguht I explained myself quite clearly. They are playing in poor teams, at a poor level and have achieved nothing. Beating Italy and Wales is not an achievement.

FFS another classic example of semi-informaed opinion. Heaslip has played one game, scored a try, and was part of the backrow that dominated the "Killer Bs". Does anyone on here actually watch real rugby?

Personally I'd say a Backline of 9. Bergamasco, 10. Traille, 12 Worsley would probably be more effective then the crap that the legends Philips, Jones and Roberts are going to serve up in two weeks time.

Beating Italy and Scotland is no achievement? Lets not forget that Wales have played two of the same games as you have, and won both more convincingly(+17 points difference over Ireland even despite a 7 point loss to England.) And Heaslip is amazing because he conquered the mighty B's! By your logic the might b's are playing for a completely Useless Scottish side and therefore that is nothing of an achievement.

Also the idea that your opinion is based on the present? If that's the case then you'd have to think of Ireland as a very average side. Without harking back to years ago there is little precedent right now to think of Ireland as much better than Wales.

And players can't be good if they are playing for poor teams!?! I'd point out here that 90% of the Irish squad is split DIRECTLY in two between Leinster and Munster.Naturally they're going to be good sides. Does that make Reddan good because he plays for Leinster?

Good job Logorrhea. I had my concerns when I posted my first reply, but went for it anyway. Tbh though, if I wanted pointless WUMing I'd go read 606. This forum is great because people talk sense and actually want a propper conversation about rugby. I know you're only having a bit of a laugh, but the less WUming there is here the better.

No offence but I wasnt the one talking about The Brand, and O'Brien and what Lydiate was going to do to O'Brien. This thread was wayy off topic, I just focused a few minds.

Anyhoo laughing aside, most of what I said is semi true but I've obviously exaggerated it for dramatic purposes.

Roberts is not the player he was, neither is Ryan Jones. I'm not saying they are finished but I believe Wales would be a stronger team with both of them on the bench. I'm not sure if you have options at 8, but you should be playing Hook and Davies in the centres. Lydiate and Warburton are nothing but hype at the moment. I haven't seen a truly dominant performance from either of them either at club level or at international level. Sure they seem to be strengthening an area where Wales were pretty weak in the past (haven't had a proper 6 in years have you) but I'm not convinced that they are quality yet.

I not actually too bothered who wins this game. As one of the other posters said, its meaningless really. Sure I want Ireland to win it, but once we continue to improve their discipline, reduce the errors and score tries with ease we are going in the right direction. If we do that and lose by 10 I won't actually be too disappointed. I'd like Ireland to peak in August, not in February so this is all about progression.

Roberts has played his best for Wales in the this 6 Nations than he has done in a while, his defense has been solid and takes Wales forward. Ryan Jones is the same takes Wales forward, he's coming back to form, definitely our best option at 8, Powell is to mistake proned and Jon Thomas goes missing and offers nothing in attack. Warburton has been good since the AI so I dunno where you are coming from. Lydiate is still raw, but definitely improving every game and will be a good number 6 for Wales in future.
