(Very) early thoughts on the 2017 Lions

A Lions combine meaning?

I'm guessing like an NFL combine.

Players do test like jumps, Skips and who can Hula hoop the longest.

TBH it would be quite interesting who can bench press the most, sprint the fastest etc but fairly pointless. (It is a massively American thing).

I've long wanted to see a (televised) combine in rugby, the issue is there is absolutely no need for one, other than to satisfy fans.

Personally I would watch rugby tonight if they did a Bench press, Sprint or jump (player can choose) instead of the crappy rugby tackle thing. (Which seems massively flawed).

it's your language

and pointless things are often very entertaining, like anglo-welsh games when you know you're going out in the semis of the real deal

And it was your elections and you still managed to **** things up worse than Brexit. (A Yuge achievement by the way).

Anglo-Welsh cup is not pointless!!!!! It is a great trophy in fact the best trophy ever.

Depends if you read it as Enn Eff Ell or you automatically replace it with Naughty Fruity Lady

but we are doing so much winning... today during his press conference our fearless orange deity pulled out a huge flow chart telling us that we are losing but he is going to make us win again

A Lions Athletics meet would interest. Purely for the sake of boredom, I'll have a go at predictions from my Lions squad.
100m - Watson
200m - Watson
400m - Joseph
800m - Nowell
1500 - Tipuric
5000m - Tipuric
10,000m - Tipuric
110m Hurdles - Williams
400m Hurdles - Williams
4x100 Relay - Watson, Hogg, North, Seymour
4x400 Relay - Joseph, Watson, Hogg, Williams
High Jump - North
Long Jump - North
Triple Jump - North
Shot Put - Furlong
Discus - Itoje
Javelin - Murray

Surely the rangy types like Liam Williams are the most obvious distance runners?

Yea probably, I was rushing it so I just generalised and thought 7s are meant to be fittest, Tipuric's fitter than Warburton and O'Brien, therefore Tipuric.

I would like to make a correction if Itoje instead of North for high jump. Forgot about second rowers clearly being good jumpers.
