but dont know if i i will get around to it as it makes to much noise! damn video card

but we still have video camera and dig cam for recording the comp, shouldnt be to bad

......this is looking good indeed!!!

Games being recorded and posted.
BBQ with tonnes of Freddy Flinstone size steaks.
Strippers.

Can't wait! Everytime I think of the comp my mou  th waters!

I'm thinking of making a special cerificate of honour to print out and bring up for anyone who can beat Gay-Guy.

It is the same challenge factor as what the greek gods set Hercules, but I'll bring them nonetheless.

Post tourney we could have a king of the screen kind of thing to see who can stay on longest? With GG as one of the first guys on it. Who shall rise to that challenge?

Huh....what do you mean?????

Oh i get it.....mis read post as pre........

Well it looks like it may be international teams...though I am not sure about that poll...haven't checked it.

I no longer go over my ex's place to train with my trainer.....so it looks like I have to upskill one of my freinds on how to play...from the beginning....no worries.

All I need now is a cheap xbox off trade me....2 controllers...and R2006.

But even if I never play from now till the comp I should still win lol!

I don't know if I can last that long waiting for a bbq steak.....may have to clean the old bbq and cook some steaks next week.

that ok gg, if you dont have any more games until the torny at least it gives the rest of us a chance :)

Lucky for you biatches I'm many thousands of miles away... I'd skin you all alive in your own back yard!

Much like how "useless" Ben Cohen did to Doug Howlett, come to think of it...

Don't worry Teh Mite.....the funds from TRF NZ account should cover the travelling expenses for our top player to go visit you guys......after he (or she!) gives you guys the beats just ike the 1905 Originals did 101 years ago we will claim our unofficial ***le of World EA Rugby champions. You see, we here in kiwiland are "organised" when it comes to rugby administration. Our first comp is also a training camp/conference for all of us to share and take ideas back to our provinces. If R2007 goes xboxlive there is a good chance to most NZ players will stick to playing NZ people due to our own broadband issues and also due to our higher quality of play.

Maybe whoever wins TRF2006 NZ tournament should be called by a ***le? Every year when we play we are playing for that "***le"

I spoke to a friend last night and he agreed to being taught how to play R2006 so he could train with me. So thats good that I have a player. Only problem is we have to go to another friend and see if he wants to let us use his xbox...which we will probably do tonight. After that there is the matter of getting 2 controllers (trade me) and buying from EB R2006 which has been reduced to $50. My main issue is that it may take a while trying to get this guy to learn R2006 as he never even played R2005 or 04.......he was good at JLR but the problem is JLR players inititally have difficulties converting to the EA game...especially with the passing.

Another training tournament done and dusted... a S14 including TRF members myself, CA Iversen, Amy Iversen, Andrew Horton, plus a couple others. As it panned out I (Sharks) dismissed the Brumbies in semi's while Andrew (Bulls)pipped Craig (Highlanders) in the other.

A tense final came next, with our most improved entrant Andrew in hot form. I scored twice in 1st 15min to lead 14-0, but Andrew forced his way back with tries either side of halftime to lock it up. I replied almost immediately to make it 21-14. After some to-ing and fro-ing Andrew squared it up again, and we preceded to cancel each other out until fulltime, with Andrew pulling of an impersonation of Houdini with a scrambled goal line clearance right on fulltime.

So extra time and more of the same until I eventually got within range (admittedly had an overlap but credit where credits due) took a drop goal (3rd time's a charm - missed 2 in regular play) to win 24-21. Andrew's definitely one to watch along with Monoturd's progression up the ranks. Just hope Andrew hasn't peaked too soon... as if I can't win this then hopefully one of my colleagues will :D

P.S. - Andrew's easily leading a current 6 nations comp too ;)

Does anyone have a DVD recorder, as that would be a nice easy way to record whole tournament wouldn't it?

Just feed Xbox through it onto the TV/projector and just fill the HD on it...

na, but my pc might do the trick, i should have it upgraded and working properly for recording by then
