GG i dont think anyone changed it from the 10min half we both suggested on post page 10 anyway. But incase, i too believe 10min halves are the best option.

In this thread thats true danny, but before this thread was started we were talking about the tourney in another thread, and the earliest idea was 5 minute halves.

Anyway, I'm agreed too. Sounds like thats one thing set in stone?

Any objections?

Fantastic guys!

Looks like we are going to have a lot of fun.

Also with the display options....does anyone have a preference?

My own preference is not having any of the names, numbers, radar, stars displayed at all.....I will bend on player info being displayed as that is shown at the bottom of the screen and does not interfere with the players.

i dont care, i normally have whatever the default is, its only athetics(sp) really

it doesnt detract from the game at all i honestly dont take any notice of it at all

Just popping in to say now, rather than later, I almost definitely can't make it this time. Have fun.

With regard to display options - im easy, default always the norm for me.

Question tho - are we playing in widescreen or normal?
Reason i ask is because i used evox to run my xbox in widescreen mode and when i played the rugger it was slow as.... but when back to normal was fast again? Has anyone else experienced this?

nope........widescreen on a projector seemed to work the same....sometimes the frame rate would stutter but apart from that it was ok....

....yes we are playing it on ws.

...what is evox????

Don't worry, it'll be in good company, there's a few around ;)

I think player names definitely are a distraction on a tv, may be fine on projector but am happy to go with the flow :)

GG

I bet you will :p

Shame Kaf can't make it, you and Evol are already pencilled in for next year :D

Even on projector they are a bit of a distraction.

By the time we come to play we should be able to tell which players are which without display help being needed.

Well done guy's - sounds like a **** load of fun... one question... where's Chiro?
Would have thought he could have stolen an Xbox from somewhere ???

...arrested???????....no no no.....Chiro is at a secret training facility getting himself ready for the competition.......he has been sponsored by Pacific Cornbeef and they are putting a lot of money into him as their rep to win this comp.

Only my secondpost but I'm looking forward to coming along. Am getting better although I will probably be the 3rd best player from Southland.

I can sometimes beat Craig, but are usually close against DavidObrien.

Sound like the Gay guy is the one to beat.

Craig was saying he might try and jack up a second game to play up there. I suggest soccer, seeing as its worldcup year?

i am keen for any games to be played as long as the rugby game is number 1 priority. i have fifa 06 i enjoyed that as much as i did play it (which wasnt that much)

yep fifa 06 is a good fun MP game - id be keen to paly it also,

Tho if Rugby League 2 is out on xbox by then that would be good to play too

This is the Rugby 06 tournement, and id rather keep it that way, we will only hav a short time as it is. I dont see how soccer should hav any place here, once im eliminated i want to play rugby with the other losers. Maybe its just me, but im rugby all the way.
