I agree about the SHs but in the case of Joe Simmonds, he's not really ready/good enough to be getting much game time anyway.Like Nic White for your young SHs, Foley could be very, very good at restricting game time for the youngsters who need game time to develop

I think he'll be a very good fit for Exeter. He's got a great running game and is a sound playmaker; the major fault he has as a 10 is his goal kicking but when Slade's on the pitch that won't be an issue. I'd have thought he'd probably be the 3rd best 10 in the Prem (unless Gopperth starts playing at 10 for Wasps)Yeah - I tend to agree here. Steenson has been a great servant for Exeter but is now well in to his 30s and, as harsh as this sounds, he isn't the 10 they need to help them kick-on to the next level. Joe Simmonds has potential and has looked good when he's had chances to play, but he's nowhere near ready to be the playmaker for a team aspiring to be a top side on the European stage.
I think Foley is a little overrated, but he's still a better 10 than any of Exeter's current options.

I've had a quick look for stats and couldn't find any but yes, he is a very good goal kicker. I imagine his stats wouldn't actually be hugely impressive as he generally only gets given the longer range kicks but looking back at his U20 highlights with England and the few games he's played at 10 for Chiefs, he can definitely kick.Is slade that good a goal kicker?

Good for Jaguares as they get a quality 10, bad for Argentina as it means they aren't getting anyone developed in a position in which they sorely need a new option.Quade Cooper to Jaguares? Good for Jaguares? Good for Cooper? Good for Super Rugby?
Australian rugby union star Karmichael Hunt has been charged with possessing drugs after police arrested him in Brisbane, reports say.
For a moment I got my hopes up that I'd opened the politics thread and you were talking about Jeremy Hunt
