Transfers rumours

I'm questioning the players reason to move, just its a shame to see a team like the Lions who was a wonderful story looking like they are going to lose a sizeable chunk of their team to the NH. (That being said i would take Kwagga smith in a heartbeat).
Yeah that what I'm answering is from players POV

Great for Murphy and Ulster. Gibbes will know him and he will know Gibbes. A player who will struggle at Leinster, but could be a huge asset for Ulster.
@Tigs Man I've heard nought about that. O'Connell has kept his head down and only had a really minor role at Munster since retirement, but if he's ready to come back, I think it would be great for him to go to Leicester. He never got the move he wanted at the end of his career and O'Gara is showing the sense in building experience abroad.

Muffinman, @munstermuffin have you heard anything about PO'C coming to Tigers as a forwards coach?
He is looking at going coaching and we have tried sign him straight up but he wants to do ROG route before returning so may be some truth. He loves Tigers from the days of Johnson and Co so may be true

Personally i would love to have him at Tigers.

Wish more English coaches would look abroad.

Guy Thompson to Leicester doing the rounds apparently....

I'd hate to see this, Immense player and great lad for the changing rooms.. would be a huge loss to us.

Saying that, our back row options are growing by the second, Shields, J Willis, T Willis, Rieder (new deal signed), Hughes, s Jones (England's Broken Man), Thompson, Haskell (contract up end of season but expected to extend), Youngs, Johnson and Carr (who sounds like he's keen to stay) , we are well set here.

Also very obvious rumour but serious rounds being made on Cips heading to France for Toulon, Lyon and Stade.

It'd be interesting to see if POC makes a good coach, passion, intelligence and accepting nothing short of perfection doesn't necessarily make one, see Roy Keane, I reckon BOD didn't consider it because of his impatience and I imagine Sexbro will be the same.

The Ulster pack and Munster backline would make a good Leinster reject team!

Good move for Murphy. He's clearly a Joe Schmidt favourite and the lack of big games of late for Leinster could affect that. He's a quality player and will improve his new team. Leaving frees up more opportunities for Max Deegan, Caelan Doris and Josh Murphy.

Wouldn't fancy our backline's chances with Conway our third choice scrum half and second choice out half

Good move for Murphdog but I'll miss him, Ulster to play a backrow of Jones Murphy and Timoney next year? Moore and O'Connor packing down too!
Yer man Jones is only first year academy sure. Would expect Timoney to develop into a good senior player.forgive my ignorance but which O'Connor is this?

Alan. Anyone remember where David went off to?

Is Greg Jones definitely first year? I believe he moved up last season to try and get a contract.

He'd suit the Tigers philosophy and style. He has trained under some great coaches but also from seeing him with 20s he's very good getting his point across without getting to excited. Also his technical coaching is very detailed and good

Interestingly Jordi was reported to be told he was off. Leinster were releasing him regardless

.....................Kriel, Smith and Rohan Janse van Rensburg all being linked to Prem clubs next season on full contracts.

Those fellas are most welcome at Castle Grim. I've noticed that Gloucester Services (an awfully posh motorway services on the M5 near Gloucester) is stocking a good range of SA delicacies: biltong, boerwurs etc. Kings Park --------> Kingsholm. See what I did there?
