I can't imagine anyone saying that Kvesic is not big enough to be a flanker. Seems like an absurd thing to say.

Apart from Lancaster and Eddie Jones, can't think of anyone who'd say that.*

Neither coach has kept him or used him really. I'm not saying I don't rate him btw just that for international duty he is maybe too small.

No quotes, can't remember when it was but eddie jones apparently talked about him working on the ground he gives up during contact.

You have to remember we have capped tom wood at 7. So wood is slower, worse at the breakdown and in open play and carrying.

The only thing he has is he doesn't give ground in the tackle and his lineout ability (although for me a 7 shouldn't jump).

Just my musings and only relevant at the highest level.

100% wood is a worse 7. He's a brilliant 6 but I was just using it as a reference to England not using kvesic as a 7.

Wood has some major flaws in his game though. His carrying is woeful and his rucking has gone backwards from when he first came on the scene. He's a great club player but he's far from the complete player.
