That would be cracking signing. I think Bennett's contract is up at the end of the season and according to the BBC, Huw Jones is on his way to Glasgow (along with Adam Hastings) so it might make sense.

Ok its the silly season for rumours...heres a few ive heard already....

Bennett --> Falcons rumours bubbling (Would be a great one)

Mermoz --> Leicester till the end of the season confirmed.
However there seems to be a lot of dispute about the next 3 years. Rumours say he's signed for Leicester for 3 years, or Newcastle or Racing!

Josh Strauss -->Exeter, Bristol, Falcons to name a few after him...Exeter leading the race comfortably apparently.

Marcus Watson --> Wasps apparently looking like a done deal.

Thacker could be off, depending on who comes in as DOR.

I can't see someone like White or Mallett ( ) wanting a hooker that is 5ft 8 and less than 15 stone, maybe a coach like Gibson or Deans might.

Yeh but the concern would be that defensively we don't get:
1). A hard hitting 7 ala Hooper
Or
2) A fetching 7 ala Pocock

He is to easy to clear out in the ruck. really he should of been moved to the backs whilst he was in the academy.

I wouldn't get the Thacker signing, for us.
Think he's a very talented player but we really need a bigger hooker to balance out our lightweight backrow. We've already got Webber and Briggs, Neild is in transition and Langdon in the background.
And we don't need another 7.

Any team looking at Thacker either has to have 7 beasts across the rest of the pack ... otherwise he can only really be used as an impact sub.

I'd very happily take him at Quins as an upgrade on Ward but we'd still need a bigger, set-piece focused hooker to start.

I wouldn't mind seeing Thacker at Wasps, reminds me of Tommy Taylor in many ways. We have TT, Johnson and Cruise but realistically - TT may be off with England soon, always preferred Johnson in the backrow and Cruise isn't really strong enough in my opinion - TT, Johnson and Thacker would offer us a little more - although I'd say we need a bigger front row in general, against Connacht and Toulouse we got dominated at scrum time

AAC would be a good signing for most AP clubs to be fair ... at 32, I'm not sure how many starts he'd have in him, but still a quality player.

I saw Koree 'The Perv' Britton has been named in Wasps' LV Cup side. Have they picked him up from the remains of London Welsh or is he a guest?
