Transfers rumours

Davey publishes every rumour he hears, he isn't a reliable source.

That's what I think.

Pretty much every player their are in potion to be getting a DC but have yet to get one, pretty certain it is a agent move.

But I would like to see Tipuric as a replacement for Salvi if he was to go.

I could've sworn that Liam Williams had signed a contract extension recently, but I can't find anything about it
Tipuric sick of getting no game time for Wales? Gatland's not impressed by players who move abroad, and this could see him drop out of the Wales squad.

Not really sure why Bath would want Priestland, or why Priestland would want to go to Bath. I guess it's suggesting that Henson is off at the end of the season? I know he re-signed last year, but was it just the one year extension?

I think Priestland signed an extension not Liam Williams last season.

I could actually see Tipuric leaving, and if Salvi goes it would be a perfect move for us. ;) wishful thinking though.

Why would Bath want Priestland?
1. He wouldn't be worth the money
2. They already have Ford
3. If Priestland were to move away from Wales, there are teams he can go to to start
4. Why pick an international as second-choice for the position? It just means you're without your two main fly-halfs in international periods.

If Priestland goes to Bath and Henson leaves, I think Bath will definitely be down on that deal. Would love for Glos to bring in Henson.

Not understanding the Jake Ball rumour either. Why would he want to jeopardise his future with Wales so soon after getting in?

My guess: agents putting pressure on the WRU to offer these players dual contracts.

That said, if I were Priestland, I'd be very tempted to retire from the international game and move abroad for the money.

His place in the 23 is very vulnerable at the minute, with Hook, Owen Williams and Anscombe trying to get that second slot, and even if he does get out on the field, he gets booed by his own fans. Don't see how that can be fun for the guy.

Ball is probably on a low wage contract, he is still on his initial one, having joined as an unknown 21 year old. Scarlets will want to lock him down, as they finally have some good locks. Priestland signed a contract earlier in the year, can't see Bath buying it out. Scarlets would only release him from it if they had Williams coming I feel.

Tipuric should be locked down as well, but his face doesn't fit with the management. Ospreys will do all they can to keep him, but it's tough with the salary caps (which must be removed).

I did NOT know he was only 23! I presumed he was late 20s, at least! Must be the beard.
Yeah, whoever found the bloke deserves a raise themself. Snyman and Earle were also good signings around the same time, both become WQ this September as well.

Seems like the Scarlets are linked to/have signed Aussie U20 back row Jack Payne (who is WQ).

I've heard rumours of Adam Ashley-Cooper coming to Bath, not sure how much credence to give them though. Would love to have him if true, an undeniably world class player at centre or wing, and has also played fullback internationally I believe. Would thrive in any of those positions at prem level I'm sure.

Made such an impact with you then!! Think it is Ashley rather than Adam!!

Is that from the COML thread?

I think that was just someone's wishful thinking, by all accounts his contact with a French club (UBB??) is done.

Where would AAC fit in at Bath though?
Actually I guess the left wing isn't really nailed on.
I think they should move Watson to the wing, and then should bring AAC in at 15 (imo, his best position).

Yeah, googled it after and found a couple of references to it as a rumour but no source, hence not giving it too much credence! It would be lovely though ... on the wing I guess
