Transfers 2015/16

Nothing wrong with him but if he gets injured are back up is allanison who has been pretty dire every time he's played.

Kind of surprised about the optimism of Maitland's move. He's moving from a Scottish side which is competiting for the ***le in its league and building very nicely in the champions cup.

Not not's are a mid to lower placed league team and don't look like competing for top european rugby any time soon. Will probably be in a tight relegation battle next year as well.

A club like Saints, Sale, Sarries, Leicester would have been better. I'm sure he has his reasons though.

New owners last season. You'd imagine this wont be their last biggish signing. Surprised they didn't go after Hanrahan tbh.

Being honest Glasgow have no chance in Europe and well it's unlikely they'll go further in Europe. In Pro 12 it's not exactly a good or enticing league with poor money. So he's probably doubled his wage as well as joining a team who are building very well and will be nowhere near relegation next year.

But I now seriously hope since Matawalu and Maitland are both leaving at the end off the season, I hope Glasgow make a good and big signing after losing two off they're best players.

I know but been injured so much I hope he goes to another high Premiership club because if he wasn't injured so much he would be great. Just one thing don't go to Bath. He will end up at Northampton I reckon especially with Foden out.

Bath is the suggestion, he's from Wiltshire and his brother is in our Academy.
We need a second specialist FB, particularly when Watson and Ford are with England... Devoto at 10 necessitates a good kicker somewhere else in the team.

Could see Tigers though now that they've lost Tait.

It'd be useful having another kicker for when Priestland is at 10 as well.
He offers literally nothing on attack but a solid goal kicker is always handy when internationals are on.

That would be a great idea, as it relives Priestland of his worst trait. His game goes pear-shaped when he starts missing a few.

How is his goal kicking these days? I think Homer's the best age grade kicker I've ever seen, but I got the impression he had been a little shaky at Premiership level.

If he could refind his age grade kicking, I'd probably shoehorn him into England. Entirely serious. He looked like a ginger version of Halfpenny then.

He was the premiership's golden boot in his first senior season wasn't he?
Nailing them from long distances too.

I think he's not 100% since he came back from injury, but I think his talent is pretty innate, so it's just a matter of time before he gets it back.

Yeah.

I don't think he's good enough to be an England back three player - but I think he's good enough to do no harm, and god knows we don't really use our back 3 that well anyway; sticking in a world class goalkicker would be worth the sacrifice, imo, particularly if it let us concentrate on 10s like Ford* and Cips who will get the most out of our backline as a whole.

*lays out the bait for Rats and steps back.

80% success rate this season thank you very much.

I think he's got quite a bit more rugby in him than he's shown so far in his career, too, hopefully we can draw it out of him.

Upgraded version of Cook? na m8

IMO he'd be our fourth/fifth-choice fullback.

Just out of interest which 4 players would you put in front him ??? If you have players like that you really should play them ...
