Transfers 2015/16

If we get a kicker and a decent scrum half then we could seriously be in contention for top 7 next season.

Mckibbin could be our answer at 9, he has a great boot on him as well, potentially with Madigan and Geraghty we will have a lot of kicking prowess at the club.

Well you guys needed some props. Why the **** did you get Doran Jones ?

Anyone know anything about Thomas and McAllister?

Paddy McAllister was with us, promising enough young player - some seen him as a potential star, but I wasn't so sure on that.

Anyway, suffered badly with injuries so left last year to join ex-Ulsterman Jeremy Davidson at Aurillac. No idea how he has gone there tbh.

He started very brightly - has/had huge natural athleticism that stood him well in the days of the hit. I thought he had Ireland caps in him.

Whether he's up to it now after two big leg injuries and a lot of missed development time is another matter. Hopefully he is, we'll have him back off Glaws in a couple of seasons...

From what I gather Thomas has massive potential. He's already a good scrummager, but his fitness is atrocious. If he works on that he's got a very very bright future.

Apparently went to Sixth Form at Hartpury so has been on Gloucester's radar for a while.

Didn't realise Mike Haley went there as well, was in the same side as Thomas, Stooke, Braley and Billy Burns.

Pat Howard has gone back to South Africa after his loan. Looks like we chose not to hang onto him, most likely due to awkward NIQ allotments. Could be back again some day, who knows.

Nope we tried to hang on to him but they wanted him back. He wanted to stay too but understanding is we will sign him if we don't get our NIQ centre (3 targets in talks). Pat has family here and was loved by all of us and certainly mixed in well as well as being a good asset on field.

Glad Horne didn't want to come. No point in slotting another guy whose best position is elsewhere into the centre. We need a specialist centre more than anything. Wing is easily his stronger spot

He's been played more traditionally at centre than wing. It's only recently for the Waratahs and Wallabies that he has been used on the wing (which is interesting as I don't think he's especially quick, and thought his best attribute was direct running in the centres, however I agree he probably has played some of his best rugby on the wing lately).
