A huge loss, Scott had signed a pre-contract for MHR and seeing the mess there went back to the President Merin office's claiming he wanted to stay here, prez was ok only if Scott find the way to free himself from his engagement in Hérault, the club couldn't afford the fee due to MHR. Clermont had to replace Buttin and had money, end of the story.
I Hope we'll confirm Tait's signing very soon...

I don't think he'll have too much trouble cementing himself as first choice after a couple of years. Simpson is but a one-trick pony (albeit, a very good trick)

I must say I felt the same way . Just felt like he could really progress under the Chiefs coaching staff . Not that wasps wouldn't do that I'm just a big fan of the way Exeter run the club

Have to say i'm sort of relived TBH, fine player and would have been great to see him play.

But as a marquee player @ 33 might not have been right. Hoping it means Salvi is staying at Leicester.

Although if he leaves hoping Mauger will bring Todd with him.
