Transfers 2012/13

Has Gareth Delve been confirmed for Toulon?

well ... technically none of the Top 14 transfers have been confirmed, as they are not allowed to be until the 20th April, however there are lots that are common knowledge such as Gethin Jenkins to Toulon (Toulon haven't yet confirmed, Cardiff Blues statement just said he is leaving)

Gareth Delve, according to my source (which I will get told off for posting) is one of those which is signed

Any rumours of where all the Aironi players may be heading? I'm guessing a lot/most will move onto the new Italian team, but I can imagine there'll be some vultures..

David McIlwaine to Bristol, according to the Rugby Paper

Good move for the Dragons. But will Prydie get much game time at 15 for the Dragons?

Nearing confirmation:
Tom Prydie (WG, FB ) Ospreys -> Newport Gwent Dragons
Daniel Evans (FB ) Scarlets -> Newport Gwent Dragons

http://www.campaignseries.co.uk/sport/9638898.Dragons_set_for_Prydie_swoop/

the Evans signing makes sense with his lack of game time at the Scarlets and Martyn Thomas leaving, but Tom Prydie?

I thought he would have a bit more of a chance before being let go, especially surprising given Shane, Nikki Walker and Bowe all leaving and he may have more chances next season, Tandy must really not rate him

I haven't seen much of him apart from in a Wales shirt to be honest, so no idea whether he's gone backwards since his injury or just not reaching his potential compared to others

Probably. Who else have we got?
Jamie Smith is always injured.
Steffan Jones is an outside half.
Daniel Evans isn't bad.
Will Harries is a wing.

From what I gather, Chavhanga is staying, so that is excellent news.

Losing Martyn Thomas won't be much of a blow with two coming in to replace him. I think Daniel Evans still has a lot of potential, and a change of scenery and a run of games will do him the world of good. He just slipped down the Scarlets pecking order with a few youngsters coming through and impressing which coincided with a run of poor form from Evans himself.

I think we'll see Prydie finally progressing at the Dragons, and I can see him being picked at fullback firstly, although he'll spend a decent amount of time on the wing considering Brew is off at the end of the season, so they'll really only have Harries and Chavhanga out wide.

it says on the first page of this thread on newcastle that they are relegated on the transfers list. Sorry im quite bad at explaining things :/

Stephen Jones (Scarlets) ---> London Wasps

Western Mail.

Interesting....but don't know why.
Nicky Robinson is first choice, then they've got Ryan Davis coming through, and from next season Lee Thomas can cover there too.

bit of a poor move for Wasps tbh, his status as a 100 cap international probably puts his price tag up, but he will likely only be there for a season or two at his age and from what I've heard his performances have gone steadily downhill this season and he looks past it

Nicky back to the Blues, Blues move to CAP.
Great start for next season (wishful thinking, no basis whatsoever)

Unless Robinson is out of contract and moving on, this seems a silly move. Even if Jones is on reduced wages, whatever little money Wasps have should be used on getting some decent forwards in. (Haskell won't be able to do everything on his own!)
