The Ukraine War thread

Any chance? Can't see it anytime soon.
Things like this tend to go slowly...then very quickly. All depends on the Ukrainian offensive. If they turn the Russians over then it might accelerate things but they are currently having a tough time of it

On the Mokri Yaly river, it looks like Ukraine have taken 3 villages on the right bank, and 1 on the left (and probably doing so 24+ hours ago, given Ukraine's Opsec).
If you have a look on the map, they're outside Staromaiorske (R) and Urozhaine (L) (some reports that those have been taken, but unconfirmed as far as I can tell), with widening attacks further out about 8-10km further East (Novodonetsk) and West (Rivnopil).

Apparently Russia are in the process of trying to blow up another dam. Whilst I understand the calls for peace, I don't see how anyone can expect Russia will honour any peace signed, nor should they be rewarded for what they have done. Hungary looks to be trying to side with Russia now, I think the EU and west really needs to clamp down on the dictatorial tendencies of Hungary's leader.

Yes on the river system mentioned above where the Ukrainians have been advancing.

Hungary has been a problem for the EU and NATO for sometime now. I believe it's leader is widely known as "the Dictator" within EU circles.

Erm...

Remind me where Chernobyl is again?

I guess Trump's confidential documents could become the USA's "Watergate"
