Terrible attitude of French fans

Cheddar is one of my go to cheeses i have to say.

Cheshire Cheddar and mozzarella maybe some red leic if I'm feeling exotic, sorted.

Homemade base, chopped tomatoes that have been strained of their juices, add the Cheshire cheddar, put the pepperoni, onions, peppers, chorizo on it and sprinkle the mozzarella and maybe add the red.

Sooo want a Aga.

Pizza toppings ranked (cheese/s and tomato paste assumed as a given alongside salami, bacon and/or ham):

1 olives
2 origanum
3 chopped tomato
4 pineapple
5 avocado (placed afterwards)
6 jalapenos
7 green pepper
8 spinach
9 mushroom

I don't care for anything else on mine. Some I wouldn't mix. If I go pineapple I'd only consider tomatoes, jalapenos, green peppers or olives.

How to make an amazing pizza:
1. Any decent pork topping (Ham/Bacon/Salami/Any Italian or German Sausage)
2. Feta (as a topping not the primary cheese obviously)
3. Avocado OR Mushrooms whichever you feel like at the time.
4. Jalapeno's if you feel like something spicy.

Follow these steps and you can't go wrong.
I like and understand the appeal of olives, peppers, pineapple etc but the danger of your pizza becoming a soggy congealed mess goes up exponentially.

Just what happened here? I read the first page when it first started, and now come back to find... this

Yupp! I'm on the avocado on pizza train. Had fresh avocado on a spicy ham and pineapple pizza, was quality. It was uncooked and added after the pizza was done, so not sure what it'd be like to have the avocado cook with the pizza though.

Sounds like some proper hipster stuff that.

Yupp. Was at The Stable, chain that started somewhere in the West Country I think and expanded to Cardiff recently. Was actually served on a plate at least, rather than on some ridiculous object. Genuinely was damn tasty though, plus the ciders there are tidy.

2 origanum

This seems to be a forgotten about thing in the UK which is a shame, it works really well with quite a range of other toppings IMO.

Avo goes a nasty brownish green color, get shriveled, lose moisture and taste bitter when heated.

If it hasn't got a thin base, at least 1 cheese, tomato base and origanum its not a pizza in my book at least. I put origanum on anything with tomato TBH.

On a side note what are you people complaining about it doing that you are getting soggy pizzas!?! If you are buying then buy somewhere else!

cooking pizzas is all about the the temp of the oven, i have a purpose built wood burning pizza oven outside in the summer kitchen, and it can reach temps in excess of 300°
when you place the pizzas on the stone base they steam as all the moisture is taken out of the pizza dough, so never soggy if you do not have an oven, buy a piza stone which you place in an oven to heat up (very hot oven) and heat it, before placing your pizza on the stone to cook.
Make your own dough its easy, and make sure your oven is super hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have ooked literally hundreds of pizzas and always loved by friends and family

The controversial eating the crust first method being talked about after a trump Pizza Hut ad has surfaced.

I'm sorry but that is twisted.

Avo isn't a thing up North either? You lads really need to live a little. Avo is a mainstay on South African pizza, and not considered hipster at all (that would be figs), uncooked of course.

That is so spot on I really did LOL. Fig and wild rocket. Probably not on the same pizza though.

What exactly do Europeans put on a pizza? Seems the options are fairly limited then? I mean, no pineapple, no avocado, apparently not even origanum?
