The Lions have been hit HARD by injury and having lost 3 first choice props, their lock 'enforcer' and first choice scrum- and flyhalves... well, I'd be disappointed if we couldn't manage a 5 point bonus point win even if the match is in Jo'burg.

We've been pretty lucky with injuries so far *knock on wood* with Burger and Elstadt our only starting players injured (and expected back not before long) and Kolisi and Etzebeth having taken full advantage of their chances. I don't have any info on Deon Fourie's injury though. With that said we need to bag the points on offer because we won't get situations like this often in the competition and need to take advantage of our opportunities if we want to be a contender come the play-offs.

Just saw the teamsheets and I think the Lions are gonna struggle. Particularly at the scrum with the way our boys have been going and the Lions' problems in that area. Kitshoff looks to have sorted out the technical side of things and with locks as big as Etzebeth and Bekker behind him..

Oh I hope you Stormers smash the Lions this weekend...

I'm going to my Gf's annoying cousin's 30th bday on saturday and he's a massive Lions supporter, also he's a massive Asshole!! (probably because he supports the Lions)...

As you said earlier I would really like to see some aggressive intent from the Stormers this week, we meed to snag bonus points where we can.

No light at the end of this tunnel for the Lions, they are going to get hammered.

I think the aggressive intent you mention is key as against both the Hurricanes and Blues we scored early tries, dominated and then just let up and let both teams into the match. Somewhat different in either match as the Hurricanes had some points throughout against the run of play but the same result.

Poor.

Nothing exciting about an impotent lions attack breaking against our defence wave after wave. We did look threatening when we had the ball which was extremely seldom.
I'm not sure if the lions just protected the ball really well or we are really missing having a dedicated fetcher, but Stormers could just not get any possession.

We need to be much, much better, although I did think the ref was a bit of a chop (although personal bias might be a factor :p).

If the Stormers play like they did against the Bulls this week, then they will once again show their inferiority towards the Bulls at super rugby level...

This was a really poor game to watch, Habana's try was the little spark of the game, but that was it... luckily there was plenty of alcohol at the party...

Stormers very disappointing but when a team win their matches while playing badly and other teams loose matched by playing good rugby, it shows the class of the teams.
Bring on the Bulls in all their glory, Stormers need it to see exactly where they are at the moment

The Bulls will be on a high while the Stormers would be disappointed with their showing this weekend and will look to raise their game. I wouldn't be surprised to see a relatively young Bulls team, maybe expecting the game to be a bit easier than what they would've had they not raped the defending champs, a little surprised with the Stormers' intensity at Newlands; we won't give ground away as easily as the Reds had. A match-up with precious little in it IMO.

I expect pretty much the Same Bulls team that played against the Reds to run out again on Saturday. And based on the previous matches by both teams, it's going to be an easier week on the Bulls than on the Stormers... As there were some big hits by the Lions and I think the Stormers are hurting a bit more than the Bulls...

What will be weird of the game of the Bulls vs. the Stormers is that there will be no fetcher in either team...

Topping the log though... might say something for rather having another blindside or a more multi-skilled/non-specialist fetcher with the current law interpretations?
