So far guys not playing this very important SA derby:

Bulls: Johann Sadie
Sharks: Willem Alberts, Steven Sykes & Jacques Botes.

Bonus for the Sharks fans are that Frans Steyn will definitely play his first Super 15 game this weekend.

Go the Bulls...... If they win it will improve the Highlanders/Hurricanes chances of sneaking a playoff spot :D

Yep, hoping for the Bull to win 9-0. Also hoping for the Highlanders to beat the Reds by 19-0.

Lol!

I'm a bit nervous about this game from a Bulls perspective... We don't play well at Durban...

Does that mean Lambie is fit? If he is, I can see a sneak win for the Sharks. If Michalak is starting I wouldn't be surprised if either team mopped the floor with the other. Frans Steyn coming in is HUGE for the Sharks as the midfield (and McLeod) has been their biggest weakness. Now the Sharks just need to lure Ruan Pienaar back home and they'll be a top contender rather than managing a win every other game and holding thumbs for play-off place.

Bulls named an unchanged team for the match:

15 Zane Kirchner, 14 Akona Ndungane, 13 JJ Engelbrecht, 12 Wynand Olivier, 11 Bjorn Basson, 10 Morne Steyn, 9 Francois Hougaard, 8 Pierre Spies (captain), 7 Jacques Potgieter, 6 Dewald Potgieter, 5 Juandre Kruger, 4 Flip van der Merwe, 3 Werner Kruger, 2 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 1 Dean Greyling

Substitutes: 16 Willie Wepener, 17 Frik Kirsten, 18 Wilhelm Steenkamp, 19 CJ Stander, 20 Jano Vermaak, 21 Louis Fouche, 22 Francois Venter

This will also be Chilliboy's 50th cap...

Great to see Francois training with the Sharks boys.
Biggest issue is this: Do we play him, and if by some miraculous way make the playoffs, and then be unable to play him; or do we bench him in favour of those who could be eligible for playoffs. Better hope that neither Michalak or McLeod get injured, they are our only eligible scrum halves!

I love Chilliboy mainly of course because of his name but he is a pretty good player as well.

Scrum-half is considered a specialist-position so if 1 is injured, we are allowed to include a dispensation player (most likely to be Reinach or Hoffmann)

Should be a cracker. The previous game the Sharks didn't play their best rugby. Hope the Bulls win it so the NZ teams have a better chance of making the play offs.

Solid, but McLeod and Michalak are still kak!
Please Heynecke, call up McLeod for the 4N...

@Draggs - Yeah Steyn might become a headache for the Sharks for that exact reason, but they should take it game by game now, to stay in contention for the playoff spots in the first place...

If they lose this weekend, then their playoff dreams might as well be over...

Looking forward to this match, I actually support the Sharks so I'm not hoping the Bulls win. I'm hoping the Sharks pull off a win and then the Bulls lose next week and the Hurricanes beat the Chiefs with a bonus point win. But, unlikely the Bulls will lose next week.

I have to say, I'm not too bothered with the outcome of this match. Probably, I'm for the Sharks as the Bulls could still overtake the Stormers on the log if we capitulate and fall to the Cheetahs or Rebels. Other than that I'm just hoping for key Bok players to remain injury free and for Lambie to once and for all put M Steyn in his place; the bench while Goosen is injured and still learning the ropes. Kirschner and Spies to get mauled.

Okay... Here's my prediction for the Sharks line-up:

1. Tendai Mtawarira
2. Bismarck du Plessis
3. Jannie du Plessis
4. Anton Bresler
5. Jandre Marais
6. Marcell Coetzee
7. Jean Deysel
8. Keegan Daniel
9. Charl McLeod
10.Frederic Michalak
11.Lwazi Mvovo
12.Francois Steyn
13.Tim Whitehead
14.JP Pietersen
15.Louis Ludik

16.Craig Burden
17.Wiehahn Herbst
18.Pieter-Steph du Toit
19.Jacques Botes
20.Ryan Kankowski
21.Meyer Bosman
22.Paul Jordaan

I just wish we could see Reinach and Viljoen

Man, players we are missing right now:

Lambie, Viljoen, Hargreaves, Skeate, Sykes, Alberts... I am just happy our front-row is still in tact and we have a superb midfield.
