Tenaka is a night and day difference. You've got to say why wasnt smith dropped earlier?

Every team they've played against this year just looks ominious as soon as they get near the landers 22 its pretty much try time. Its ridiculous. Its hard to pinpoint exactly whats going wrong. I wonder if Joseph just has no idea about how to structure a defence.

Whereas whenever the landers get down the other end its ominious that they are going to cock it up.

Yep he has been good so far. However the forwards have been producing clean ball for the first time this season, which certainly helps!

Nonu ran straight. I liked that! I'm liking the inside balls from Parker too.

Although we are behind I have actually been a bit happier with the Highlanders play thus far. If the TMO wasn't a blind idiot we would be even closer. We have been played a bit more intelligently this week - instead of running it from everywhere we have been playing for field position. We are getting much cleaner ball at the breakdown too, and are showing a bit more variety in attack with Parker at 10.

Our defense has been a bit weak though, and we are struggling under the high ball. We need to improve in these errors if we are going to come back in the second half.

That try showed a hell of a lot more control than any number of tries awarded this year. There was downward pressure and no deperation. FFS!

Seriously, those kicks would've been landed by Slade the same. And the continuity would've been better for the team in the long run. Jamie Joseph must be panicking.
