Meyer Bosman to move to Stade Français.

Article here:

Not a big loss for the banana boys considering they have Steyn, Jordaan and Whitehead to call on but the sum of all these guys leaving is getting alarming to me. Particularly in light of the host of SAns jogging out for France recently and playing in Ireland as 'project' players; not just the has-beens pushing off for a pension fund any more.

French clubs buying up everything. Who's next the Sharkettes

"This is pathetic and hilarious"

Sums up sifplay pretty well. Are we sure he's not CaveDweller? Or rugby-writer?
Stop trying to be a smartass. You're just an ass.

Are four players in positions of strength for S.A. really such a worry?

Look at the Super Rugby tournament. Couple of injuries and the Sharks and Stormers struggle. Depth not as big as the Bulls who got the talent stocked up there in the north. In fact the Blue Bulls u/20 team is playing France in the JWC.

Bulls have always been prevalent in the U20. Whether it is selection bias or skill is up for debate.

As in the words of Saladin:

Em no lol. They went and sign almost the complete u/20 JWC team of last year. Then they used half of them to beat up amateurs. So they are the best and deserves to be there. And the plus side is that they got to play together for a while now so its a plus. They will probably sign the ones that made the squad this year as new comers as well

sifplay ... please play nicely or you will face the TRF Disciplinary :)

Play nice and get a long please.

Oh and by the way, gents sort your double posting out please.

Ever since the release of Shrek 1, I find that to be a compliment.

So thanks man. Appreciate the sentiment.

Bosman leaving is not really an issue due to the depth we have at center (Who'd thought 2 years ago huh?) but I worry more about guys like CJ Stander leaving SA, as mentioned, is more worrying. Depth is key in tournaments like Super Rugby, but these young guns are too eager to fill their pockets if things don't go their way.

Stander has said he was told he was too small to make it with the Boks so can't really blame him fo moving away.

Yeah, even now it sounds as if van Zyl was trying to cause issues with the supposed two year extension for Plum. If it wasn't for Mallett running his mouth that could have been a reality.

Hope Tim really is back, missed him in midfield. I'd like to see something like this:
Viljoen, Ludik, Williams, Whitehead, Robinson, James, Reinach; Dell, Cooper, Herbst, Marais x2, Kleinhans, Deysel, Mtembu; Hadebe, Mienie, Stander, Daniel, Meyer, Zeilinga, Prinsloo

James over Fred for a bit of an old head, Reinach and Whitehead given 40 minutes to get back to fitness (or start Meyer and Joubert and bring them off the bench).
