Here's some kits for in-game previewing (just unzip all the files into the EA Rugby folder, sure we all know how to do this by now hey )... I'd like to have the kits fully released before this weekend.

Yeah Jdv, I can't wait for Saturday, already have my tickets (Valentines Day or not I'll be at Newlands) .

Since Canterbury SA will be liquidated, all the CCC sponsored franchises in SA will not receive new kit for this season. So between myself and Fa'atau we thought about helping them out by supplying our own . Wouldn't that be cool? Well in the game at least.

Did you make new alternate kits but with CCC, keep the old ones (logically the best option) or make fantasy kits from another brand?

I kept the Sharks, Lions and Cheetahs with CCC. I'm gonna make the original kits in HD, as well as an alternate/fantasy version, so people have a choice. Some may like to keep it "authentic".

ShaheenJ I just downloaded some of your new kits (the Stormers one too ofcourse ) and damn, these kits' quality are FTW! Forget HD, you have created SQHD (Super Quality High Def) :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

In what res did you create these kits if I may ask? 10000x10000 or what

I suppose you could get away with x3.. i find that if you put the logo on the shirt and then enlarge the shirt, you can use smaller logos. If you did x3 you'd need to find logos the size of a house.

When I have time I usually vector low res logos in Illustrator to something like 800x600 and it's vector graphics which means u can resize it as many times as you want without losing quality. Also I figured that the file size difference (big and fsh files) is not that big between using x2 and x4. And my PC can handle what we call in "Large Canvas" work, so why not make the kits at 2048? Thanks for the comments, and critique, coz without it we cannot improve .

x2 is good enough, but for some kits x4 would be better, like for certain detail. Makes me wonder why EA don't make the kits high-res? I suppose it's just for the mega popular games.

We all know Rugby is not a big ***le (and neither is Cricket), Madden, NBA and FIFA are pretty much the cream of the crop... so we get the short end of the stick when it comes to game development ~sigh (and let's not forget that they're just freakin' lazy to begin with).

After watching week 1 of the super 14, I found that Sharks in fact did get a new CCC kit after all. However, CCC dropped the Lions and Cheetahs who are now sponsored by Gilbert. Also seems that the cheetahs are playing in Orange as the home kit this season....
