[RWC2023] Wales vs Fiji (10/09/2023)

There are some really awkward close ups going on. The kind that look like the camera is directly in the player's face rather than zoomed in from a distance.

World Cup rivals… come on now. 2019 we had all this nonsense commentary too.

I'd usually want Fiji to win this but I hate sides taking advantage of nation switching rules....which both have
So....0-0 draw?
Both teams get enough players red carded so that the game is abandoned?

I'll just try and enjoy the rugby :p
Who do Fiji have?

Have just realised I don't think there's been a single maul try this weekend. Any particular reason they've gone so out of fashion?

You can't really complain about Fijians returning to play for their country of origin. The Aussies have been pillaging the best of their players for years. It's not as if Fiji have acquired a load of natural-born Aussies.

It's one of my bugbears, particularly Tier 1 countries acquiring players via lucrative contracts to players from other nations. Personally, I'd go back to the original parentage laws, and get rid of all the imports, even if it would impact my own team.
