[RWC2019][Pool A] Round 1 - Ireland vs. Scotland (22/09/2019)

It's true though, I struggle to think of a match against quality opposition where Ireland had to chase and then won. If things are close in the 10pt area we can normally stay calm and catch up, but doing the 20 pt come backs like NZ, Wales and Argentina (sometimes) can is pretty much impossible for us.

Come on Scotland, kick for Maitland in the rain.

Good game so far, hopefully Scotland can come back and make it more of a contest. Some good play by Russell and Hogg ...
but Ireland are a machine.
glad they got penalised for going straight over the top at the ruck, because they rely on illegally not allowing the other team to compete at their rucks (every team does this, but Ireland are the best at it and make it their game plan)

I'm enjoying Isa Nacewa on the panel every game. Interesting to hear his analysis on why Sexton is doing things, thinking of the next 2-3 phases.

Why are they flying the Ulster flag with the ROI flag instead of the Northern Ireland flag?

Look if I were Irish I'd be a unionist but that just feels wrong....

The Japanese did a much better version of Ireland's Call than most other countries at least. Usually it seems to be played on some shitty CD player.

Republican not Unionist.....bloody hell that's a huge mistake I think Reunited Ireland and think Union....
