Geez that's a pretty strong line up to take on Namibia.
South Africa must be looking for a Huge win (perhaps the whole for and against thing is in the coaches mind).
Feel real sorry for Namibia now.

so i guess morne steyn just decided to not be sick anymore???

Flu probably won't last till Thursday, unless it's really bad

Hougaard at 9? Thank you lord!!!!!!

We could put 70 points on Namibia with this team.

Adding Aplon and i'd suggest putting 70 past Namibia would be considered a bit of a mercy. On the other hand we might struggle a tad without having someone there to harrass their breakdowns.

No Bismarck? Does that mean they are looking to play him as 1st choice later on? Or might there be grounds to the conspiracy theory that they are looking to push Smit into injury/fatigue? Neither is likely. I am confused.

Habana, Smit wtf? I'm a big Spies fan and he didn't have too bad a game against Fiji but he really needs to play a lot better. Wish he had the mongrel that Hougaard has.

What bugs me a bit is Alberts at openside flanker... WTF is that about?

I wanted to post that all I wanted from this game was 0 injuries but then I realised the possibilities..

I would be pretty ****** off if I were Bismarck, arguably the best hooker in the world and he get's 20 min here and there and then does not even get to start against Namibia.

Burger could captain in the first half with Fourie Du Preez taking over in the second half so don't see why John Smit needs to start.

The CLOWN should have left John Smit out totally and given Bissie a start with Ralpelle coming on off the bench.

The clown is too scared that Bissie play so well that he can't drop him from the starting lineup.

FIXED!

Otherwise I agree with you. I would be pretty despondent by now if I was him. Still though, it's one mother of an honor to represent your country at the World Cup. He will give his all, no matter what happens.

I don't think Burger has ever stolen a ball in his life.

Well, the positive side of Smit starting instead of Bismarck (apart from the wish of him being injured in this game) is that, if he starts the big games as anticipated, he should have enough opportunities to gather some form (good form that is). Whilst we all know that Bismarck can, and will perform if/ when required.

The players comments this week have been interesting to say the least, seems as though only bench/ reserve players are being interviewed or make the papers.
