What are chances of Jaguares XV being allowed to
play Premier Division Currie Cup Rugby with the big boy Provinces?

I suspect 1st division CC rugby in a few years might be too easy for Jaguares XV
if they're like their previous incarnation - Pampas XV

It depends on them entirely. There is a promotion/relegation match between the bottom 2 Premier Division teams and the top 2 First Division teams at the end. But I don't know if the Jaguares have the same agreement as the Pampas had previously in that they won't qualify for the premier division even if they are one of the top 2 teams.

But it's way too early in the season to tell. If anything is to go by, the Jaguares are facing some stiff competition this season, and based on their first match, against the Griffons, they will have their work cut out.

I've added the teams to the OP.

Happy to see Lood De Jager get a run, perfect timing for him to be back after injury and hopefully in time for the World Cup.

i would need a vpn and at that point i might as well stream it illegally since i'd have to watch it on my laptop

Two options. HDMI cable or Chormecast.

Chromecast is nothing short of amazing.

I use HDMI (should probably look into a chromecast). Everything else has a roku app luckily. I remember the days where if I wanted to watch rugby on my TV i'd have to use HDMI. How spoiled American rugby fans are now.

You most definitely should. It's a game changer.
The only thing is if you need vpn, because the vpn works from your laptop and chromast bypasses your laptop (goes straight from router to tv). But i suppose you are not using rugbypass.

I cant recommend it enough and every single person i've shown it too bought it the next week. Not kidding.
I still have hdmi cables on the cabinets next to the tvs at home.

Some surprising results over the weekend.

Expected quite a lot from the WP team as I still believed it was a strong squad despite the loss of Springboks. Plus the team has generally performed better, more entertaining rugby under Dobson. Didn't expect it to be a 20-5 win though. Happy to take it though.

Big surprise was how poorly the Sharks performed. Will be interesting to see this weekend if the Sharks will just be poor all season or if the Griquas are well prepared to do well this season.

I thought WP should have won by more. The first 20 minutes the bulls defended very well and got lucky here and there.
