RWC Quarter Final: All Blacks - Argentina (09-10-2011, 20:30)

Cruden is a boss, yeah boi

We played average and still did the damage, nuff said.

Australia wont say anything much on this performance we were still better than them.

I knew you wouldnt answer the questions to our debate, I answered yours but you cant answer mine to settle our debate. You got served HAHAHA.

Mate- you're dreaming it was answered a few pages back.

"Served" hahaha isn't that what they say on the silly dancing movie "you got served"

nice one.

Cruden looked alright at the end. Taking the ball to the line and putting other guys through gaps. He'll do alright next week, so we need to cut his space down.

Julio Farías will go back to his club and to his job (which is not being a rugby player) and tell his mates, around a few beers, about the try he scored against the AB at Eden Park for a RWC SF.

Bit of flukey try, but great work by Jane to get the ball away before going into touch

Think the scoreline will flatter the ABs a bit though

Argentina can go out holding their heads high - England or Scotland would have been pumped by the ABs, and these guys have given it everything and for a time looked like they could pull off the upset

Agreed, all of this banter about the All Blacks. Im a Manu Samoan supporter and Im defending the ABs to AB supposed supporters. Pumas have got their respect.

Good game Argentina.
Scoreline flattering for the Blacks.
Cruden grew into the game well, should get the start next week.
Glad that ones over, had me worried for a long time.
Argentina looking like they'll be competitive in the 4 nations.

It was Argentina, who had an amateur player in the team. The game is amateur in there country.

You never caught the world on fire tonight, well done all the same.

Argentina should be proud.

Yeah you said they were disinterested, like you were on the field playing, but they wernt HAHAHA, your a joke to the All Blacks.

Why dont you go up to them and tell them that you KNEW they were disinterested?...haha thats right.

Of course Argentina should be proud, they made us look average at times.
We still won by 23points though, that's a hiding in anyone's books

good game. argentina were awesome, they defended well. good hard game for the all blacks leading up to the semis. looking forward to the semis next week

Argentina played well. NZ showed some glimpse of class. Should be an entertaining game next week

Really. Made numerous breaks then did he?

Wake up. He did alright, but he did nothing great.

What are you on?

Cruden was putting guys in space, great support player, made the defensive line work hard!!!
He did much better than Slade, Slade was damn amateur.

zzzz i'm sorry Sam, but you appear to regurgitating the same old tired nonsense. Even when I clearly explained my stance PAGES ago

I'm off to bed, so you have your last word.
Sorry I won't be here to read it mate, but i'm sure I can make a rough estimation.

Why doesn't that Amorosino guy start? Every time he gets the ball it looks like he can go on a long run. He almost did there except he crashed into his own man.

Slightly disappointing performance but I think the end score was fair. We were easily the better team on the night but Argentina did well to hand in there. Personally, I thought the yellow card was harsh but then again I say that about every yellow card given away. Personally, I thought Cruden was woeful. His handling and passing was terrible. Some of the option taking was terrible - like Piri's kick for Cruden or when Toeava kicked with SBW outside him. Overall, it was not a terrible performance. We just did not look particularly clinical at finishing the moves off but the set piece was particularly good.

So yeah, we did not play that well and have to step it up next week. Then again so too do Australia. If we win the world cup I ain't going to remember one disappointing performance against Argentina.

Hope Cruden starts against Australia next weekend.......he played awesome last time he started for NZ against oz. :p Almost single handedly lost the game for the allblacks. lucky Slade came on and turned it around for the allblacks in that game.
Still.....cant be any worse then Quade Cooper

Well played Argentina, you were competitive for most of the match ... I'm actually pleased with the way the AB's played and took the points when they were on offer.

The Pumas didn't let the ABs have quick ball, but the penalties were inevitable if you are going to slow the ball down, so i'm please the Abs slotted the goals.

I think the score was a fair reflection of the game.

Might not have been a pretty win, but at least they have the chance to play pretty next week
