RWC: Australia - Ireland (17-09-2011 20:30)

IRB Council conspiracy has a long to end... Honestly... Ireland, they were unable to score four tries against USA with the same team.

Oh, shut up. 2 totally difference scenarios. To beat USA Ireland didn't need to be in top gear. They had to be tonight so of course performances are different.

Logorrhea is in for a chunk of vBookie cash.

Well, well, well...

Australia have now lost to Ireland, England and Scotland the last time they played these teams. Wales letting the Home Nations down

Good win for Ireland then

Truly appalling performance by Bryce Lawrence though, pretty much gifted Ireland that match on a plate

Well in Ireland!! Great performance, the Irish are so unpredictable, but glad to see they've raised their game and hopefully will top the group

Mike Ross, Sean O'Brien, Stephan Ferris, Johnny Sexton, Ronan O'Gara, Tommy Bowe, Paul O'Connell, Donkey O'Callaghan, Brian O'Driscoll, Rory Best, Rob Kearney, Gordon D'Arcy, Cian Healy, Eoin Reddan, Connor Murray, Jamie heaslip even F***ing Keith Earls were great.

Gutting for Aus and SA as they're probably going to have face each other in the quarter finals! Good performance by Ireland, very very solid. 10 OGara 12 Sexton 13 ODriscoll seems very very good! Here's hoping they can do the same against Italy as well!!!!

Good to be right, Aussie scrum is still NOTHING! They were fysical and hard upfront and that won them this game.

This means a Aus-SA QF :D!

How slow is Bowe btw?

Ireland beating the same line up that beat NZ a few weeks ago, what does this say about nz??? :(

maybe ireland just have the right conditions tonight

Yeah but they wern't playing at Eden Park.

The Aussies love Eden Park :D

The only thing that was missing tonight was Quade Cooper being sent off in a stretcher but other than that I'm happy.

There are so many boring arguments in this thread, you'd think England were playing someone. Can't wait, only a matter of hours till the game! Not sure whether to bet on O'Connor or Adam Ashley Cooper for first try.[/QUOTEThat was a good bet wasn't it

Yeah, Bryce Lawrence was poor. Can't say Australia would have won anyway though.

Kidney's masterplan pays off.

And who's this Bail guy cursing and spouting manure for the entire thread?

Bwhahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

if I was Quade Cooper i'd swim back to Australia!!

If you're not wearing green today, then you're a you-loser.jpg

Well for all ye Kidney basher's the man is after doing it again WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Look at selections -
Donnacha O'Callaghan - Was very good and earned his stripes
Reddan and Murray - Both contributed and fair play to them
Sexton - Not great goal-kicking but was very good in all other areas
Earls - Was correct call and wasn't exceptional but was steady and Kidney got it right

Our defense was superb and well to keep them without a try is magic in itself.
Also D'Arcy wasn't bad today but that ROG/Sexton/BOD partnership looked very workable to me and could be the key to us winning.

i think i just tripled

great great gutsy preformance from the pack!
pocock may not have been playing but i still take this victory1

Sooner or later, the weak Wallaby front row was going to cost the Wallabies. **** they miss Benn Robinson to give them some starch in there, and with Pocock gone, there stocks have dropped considerably.

The implications of this are enormous....if the rest of Pools C and D go according to predictions, The Wallabies and the Springboks will meet in the 2nd Quarterfinal.

Interestingly, this was a chance for the Wallabies to win their first match at Eden Park for 25 years, and they still couldn't do it playing Ireland.
