RWC: Argentina - England (10-09-2011, 20:30)

Youngs has been the spark, finally some quick ball. This game was never going to be pretty and the first half was shoddy - but overall this will be a decent enough win against a gritty side who've scalped us a couple of times in the last few years, with a ref who was certainly hasn't missed any English misdemeanours. Move on and concentrate on beating Scotland.

late tackle by manu, probably the dirtiest english act of the game, how could the officials miss that? absolutely shocking

Haha, open your eyes

He already had Agulla (?) around the waist when he kicked the ball, he just didn't let go (and why should he? It's a tackle) - wasn't late at all

More concerned about the eye gouge at the end to be honest - hopefully whoever it was gets a nice long ban

anyway, i'm proud of my pumas, maybe next world cup, after playing four four nations we will put a better fight
all jokes aside, congrats to england and all their fans :)

Hmmm I think Argentina infringed quite a bit in that game, and it wasn't picked up on.

What was up with the kicking!?

I'm hoping if there is no gouging that Haskell receives a ban for acting like a girl / mouthing off unnecessarily.

tuilagi knew exactly what he was doing, he pulled him down long after the ball had gone. he had no right to hold onto his waist so long. it's not as if he was running forward into a player and couldn't stop his motion as the player is kicking.

That was **** by England and especially Wilko. Youngs was great when he came on, as was Stevens and Hartley. Flood to start the Scotland game. Argentina were unlucky to lose this, hopefully they will learn from this - they managed some pretty good backs play so hopefully they'll go for lineouts instead of conversions and set their backs loose on the right part of the pitch! Very unlucky with the injuries today as well.

Despite this England are going to top this group, though I can't see them getting further than the 1/4s this year. Hopefully MJ to get the sack.

Judging by his anger the claim seemed justified!

I see it all the time of the pitch players accusing of gouging when nothing has happened. Enough cameras there to prove or disprove the claim.

England should top the group, but it's not likely to be comfortable, it isn't inconceivable that Scotland could beat them

I know this is entirly unrelated but could the English Rugby Fotball Union please fund a facelift for Martin Johnson.

I feel miserable whenever I have to look at him.

Emotions aside that was a terrible game - Scotland looked poor this morning, God knows what will happen in the group, everyone needs to step up (apart from Romania who just need a touch of luck!)

and what do you hope for if it turns out there was gouging? Would you forgive him then, almighty cymro?. I'm sorry but I honestly think you don't know what you are talking about. Why would he imply there was gouging if there wasn't. I'm sure that if I met Haskell in person I would probably think he was a prick myself but I don't see how you can cast those judgements sitting in front of your computer screen with no idea what happened.

Just watched the slo mo of Manu's tackle. No way on earth that was a penalty.
