reports coming out that Bowe is out of the tour

Well I'm hardly impartial but I would take Zebo. He's had a fantastic year when fit, and for the pure sake of style, he needs to be brought. Christian Wade is a man I couldn't complain about being brought. As long as its somebody fast black and cool, its fine. The number of Irishmen is getting worryingly small. If Sextons out, I'd love to see Madigan brought. Only if he gets the Barnett going though.
Gutted for Bowe though, considering he had to fight his way back from injury all season for this to happen.

Two words:

Christian Wade.

And if Sexton is injured, two more words:

Stephen Myler.

Nuff said.

Myler. Please god no. I would sooner eat my own bodily fluids off a dry jacobs cream cracker.

Don't you dare take Wade Gats! He needs to secure his spot with England, this tour is his chance to shine.

I wouldn't be adverse to seeing Zebo out there - very good winger. Not in the same mould as Bowe, but him North and Halfpenny would make a helluva back three.

......er..... but the cracker would not be dry then!!

I'd man up and go no marge.

Serious note. Ben Foden? Halpenny or him to cover 15 or wing maybe.

Would be happy with Zebo.

We are all, of course, overlooking the obvious candidate:

Stop it now Olly! someone might look on here and start getting Ideas.

Good idea and would not let them down but he has just had an operation and, in any case, we will not release him as we need him back at training for next season as we are so short of anything like top class players!!

Zebo, Visser and Wade seem to be top three replacements having a nose about the web.

This Lions tour is certainly not without drama, Tommy is due to have surgery but still could feature!

He's the miracle man.

I was thinking this too, as long as it's only one of the carpal bones(not the scaphoid) they can get in there and do some carpentry it should heal fairly quickly and it shouldn't have too much of an impact on his game.

Tommy Bowe having op today, may only be out 2 weeks, depends on surgery. Gatland waiting to see how op goes b4 any decision made #rterugby

Quick treatment anyway.

This is really good news... I assume that with the first international being in two weeks he won't feature (as I reckon they'll give him a run-out somewhere first) but would be very happy if he is able to feature in the final two tests.
