If we get nilled again (or don't score any tries) he, and all the coaches other than Bomb, should go straight after game.We are so poor, I just don't see how we win this one! That's kinda depressing as I've always gone into a game v Italy with confidence we'd win. Oh well.
I kinda hope Italy give us another good thrashing as there'd be no coming back from that for Gatland! Realistically, he should be gone already, but if the reports of Gatland having a release clause in his contract at the end of the 6N are true, then I assume WRU are waiting till then to save a few quid.
Will be interesting to see how Gatland approaches this game from a selection pov. He went about as conservative as possible v France which completely failed, so does the roll the dice this week?
I'd bring Teddy Williams, Faletau (if fit), Dan Edwards, Eddie James, Joe Roberts and Hathaway into the starting 15. I don't think that will solve all our issues, but we need some improvements from somewhere! Howley's attacking gameplan will always be a massive hindrance though!
I'm not sure. I think it would depend on how bad the losses against Scotland and England are. If he managed to keep those games competitive I'd imagine the win against Italy would be enough. Bad losses against Scotland, and certainly England, would see him gone in my opinion. If Wale only win this game. Do the WRU see this as a success and keep Gats. Think that would be a mistake, but as always who else is there.
I'm guessing based on this that a pint in Cardiff isn't on the cards for us in a couple weeks!I'm not sure. I think it would depend on how bad the losses against Scotland and England are. I don't have any faith in the WRU appointing the right person but to be honest, I'd still take the risk.
Ah mate, would've loved to but won't be there sadly.I'm guessing based on this that a pint in Cardiff isn't on the cards for us in a couple weeks!
Ditch Gatland and blow the bank on appointing Shaun Edwards the patron saint of all things rugby in the country? Would be the public's pickI'm not sure. Jonny Bell has left Ulster Rugby "for a career outside of rugby ". Perhaps joining the WRU at this point counts as a career move outside rugby ?Ditch Gatland and blow the bank on appointing Shaun Edwards the patron saint of all things rugby in the country? Would be the public's pick
Michael Chieka is the obvious choice since I don't rate Tandy
Possibly! After seeing Wales play I wouldn't even classify the WRU as a sporting body. There's more aggression from pensioners in a nursing and better defensive moves form commuters guarding their personal space on a rush hour trainJonny Bell has left Ulster Rugby "for a career outside of rugby ". Shut your whore mouth. It'll be Italy over Wales.
You can get in the bin as well.I really hope Italy do it.
