Wasps no bp
Bristol no bp
Chiefs bp
Gloucester bp
Sarries bp
Tigers no bp

Only gone for one away victory in wasps winning v falcons.

Really want to see Bristol come good and really start to gel and put pressure on more establisted team rather than just wait for charles piatau back and hope he turns it around for them. Which they have already done beating a couple of teams but getting one over on quins would be a big win for them.

Bristol have already beaten Quins? They've also beaten Bath so that's two fairly major scalps already. They're playing Saints at home on Saturday and I wouldn't put it past them winning again.

My predictions are the same as yours so no point in me repeating them.

Your right, my bad but beating quins, bath and saints in there first season would be a great start and they will only get better. Would be surprised if they go back down again this season especially with them losing non in 6n/AIs and having c pitau coming back.

Two of the best defences in the league could be a right slog fest.....

TBH that is a very strong Sale team on paper.

Definitely the strongest we've put out so far.
Ostrikov is a boost to the pack, but still have reservations over 2/3/17/18
Webber massively out of form, bench props poor and got battered in the A league, conceding 2 penalty tries, on Monday.
Im a fan of WGJ, he has a ridiculous engine/work rate, but top level scrummaging ain't his strong point.

Langdon looks promising but he's another hooker who has spent more time in the backrow recently.

Hope we've not rushed Rohan back too soon from his latest injury, fully fit/on form he's world class

We should see some tries no matter what happens,
I reckon tigers win but if we can get 1 or 2 BPs then it's a good return.

Bath team for Sarries:

15. Darren Atkins
14. Semesa Rokoduguni
13. Max Clark
12. Max Wright
11. Tom Homer
10. Rhys Priestland
9. Chris Cook
1. Jacques van Rooyen
2. Jack Walker
3. Anthony Perenise
4. Charlie Ewels (c)
5. Elliott Stooke
6. Josh Bayliss
7. Francois Louw
8. Paul Grant

Throwing in the towel with an eye on Exeter next week, basically. Could be painful

Newcastle 4-1 Wasps
Bristol 4-1 Northampton
Exeter 5-1 Worcester
Saracens 5-0 Bath
Leicester 4-1 Sale
Gloucester 5-0 Harlequins

all home wins this week for me although Sale could shock Leicester.

Understandable, but sad to see - it's the start of a ridiculous 2nd 4 week period.
A Sarries
H Exeter
H Toulouse
A Wasps

The thing that pleases me is that it still ooks a pretty decent squad, even with a sum total of 2 first choice starters.

In terms of the table, I think the best we can hope for is that Sarries run up a score, and get loose in defence as a result, allowing us a TBP of our own - we shouldn't be getting close to a LBP after all.
I'd still back that team to push the mid-table sides close though.

And Zach Mercer is out, as well? Has the plague come to Bath???

I reckon it is squad rotation. Blackadder probably thinks that there is no chance of beating Saracen's away and so is sending out a mostly second string squad.

Yep I'm totally behind the decision, I just might not go out of my way to watch the game!

If we beat Exeter next Friday it will be entirely vindicated. If not, it's still the right call in the circumstances IMO

Out of interest, I make that Saracens' 1.33th choice; Bath's 2.4th choice...
